Would really be heartbreaking to lose a pet like this.

I was fortunate enough to have my last dog live for 14 1/2 years (2 1/2 longer than the breed life expectancy) and die of natural causes.

Thank you for posting this. I forwarded the info to my wife who found out we had some irradiated dog treats. They are now in the garbage.
