I'm actually in Vegas right now. I was fortunate enough to get a suite with floor to ceiling windows, so I can see the storm. Looks very cloudy right now but it doesn't appear to be raining anymore.

The funny thing is this appears to be much worse than the much-ballyhooed "hurricane" from 2 weeks ago.
That was a big nothingburger for Vegas, and this storm -- believed just to be scattered thundershowers -- is causing real damage and possibly death.

I'm on the way out of Vegas now. I will be driving on that same road depicted as a river above (which was yesterday).
