As the only person on PFA (to my knowledge) to have met Chaps in person, I really hope Chaps just pays these people back this small amount of money, and we can be done with this.

Crazy for there to be this much fighting over that kind of money.

country978 is a very generous guy. He not only donated to this, but he's given to PFA freerolls and contests many times in the past, as well. Even if you believed you were getting a gift and he believed it to be a loan, you should just call it a loan, agree to ship back the money, and make your best effort to do so in the coming weeks.

It is always important to appreciate those helping you out from their goodness of their heart, and go out of your way to make them not sorry they did it. I know this from personal experience, as sometimes I will get PFA members (both radio and forum) doing nice things for me, such as getting me rooms on expensive days during WSOP. I always make sure to show my legit appreciation, and I am very careful not to inconvenience them more than they already have to be.

I gave $ to Chaps in this little drive because he was kind enough to do something nice for me many years ago, which he didn't have to do. He also never asked for anything in return. I don't believe Chaps to be a "scammer" or anything like that. I do think he should do the right thing and give a clear timetable to pay country, and then do it. It seemed we were kinda there, but now problems are starting again.

MANY MOONS AGO I WAS STAKED FOR SOME MTTS ON BORIS. IT CULMINATED IN A CHOP FOR 1800 IN AN 11 DEEPSTACK, AND LITERALLY WITHIN SECONDS AND BEFORE HE COULD SAY GRATS HE HAD HIS 900. FUCKING SECONDS.
