*** OFFICIAL *** Poker Fraud Alert Radio thread for 08/04/2023 -- NO FREEROLL -- 2:30am PDT Start Time

Show will begin around 2:30am PDT on Friday, August 4, 2023. This will be a shorter show, likely around 3 hours.

You can listen by going to our Radio tab above, or clicking here: http://pokerfraudalert.com/forum/radio.php

"Call To Listen Line": Call (518) 931-1189 to listen to the show from ANY PHONE in the world! No smartphone or app required! If you do have a smartphone, this will NOT cost you any data.

Call in number: (775) FRAUD-55 or (775) 372-8355. Make sure to show your caller ID, or the phone system will not let you through (you will probably get a busy signal)! You can also call our mountaintop number (an old '70s phone sitting on top of Mt. Charleston) at (702) 430-1808.

The show will be posted in podcast format on iTunes, Google Podcasts, TuneIn, iHeart Media, Spotify, Bullhorn, Stitcher, and Castbox, about 6-24 hours after the live broadcast concludes.

You can also text Druff at any time before, during, or after the show, at (775) 372-8355 (our main phone number).

You can follow along and interact with us in our live chat room, by clicking the Chat tab near the top of the screen. You need to be logged in and have a validated forum account in order to see the chat. It no longer requires Adobe Flash and should work with any device.

There is no freeroll tonight, due to the late night spontaneous show. We will have our special "Vegas Matt Freeroll" later in the month.

    Agenda for today:

    - Andreas Froehli calls out cheating on Pokerbros, warns against playing there

    - Josh Arieh golfs with Donald Trump, Twitter controversy ensues

    - Pokerstars US has data breach, everyone's social security number now is in the hands of the hackers

    - Robber of San Jose home poker game hides in the attic, falls through ceiling

    - Feds said to be investigating MGM and embattled Resorts World CEO Scott Sibella

    - Cosmopolitan finally comes up with hard date to join MGM Rewards

    - Update: Formula 1 Race organizers don't yet have permits to block Vegas properties from seeing the race

    - Sign of the times: Scam mobile ad series discontinued not due to being fraudulent, but because it wasn't woke enough

    - Please suggest other good topics if you don't see them here!

    - We take your phone calls at (775) FRAUD-55 or (775) 372-8355

I just wonder how much Josh paid to golf with Trump. I bet it wasn't under $250,000.

I discussed the "how much did he pay" thing during the segment.

I thought there was some possibility Josh happened to run into him and briefly got a picture and talked to him, but that it was more likely that Josh did pay something to either attend an event or golf with him personally.

The odd thing, which I also expressed on the show, was my observation that Josh was a centrist politically, at least as of 2020. He made a seemingly heartfelt post in 2020 that he was having a hard time figuring out who to vote for -- hardly someone you'd expect to plunk down big money to golf with Trump.

It is possible that Josh has moved to the right in recent years, and spending time with Trump became a bucket list item to him. Whole thing is very odd, but I would never hold anyone's political views against them, no matter which side they're on.
