I’m over being silent. Short form details: Dustin Aab owes me well over $450K from a personal loan he took from me. Monthly installments/payments have not been paid for 5 months with 1 month left on our contract. Can’t say this guy can be trusted, more details coming soon

Don't know him. My only interaction with him involved when he was doing a giveaway of that WPT seat (the same one which got Thallo in hot water for having his girlfriend rig it), and I was questioning the process he (Rampage) used. He posted an angry, snappy response back to me, but when that didn't land well with a lot of his followers who felt he was being unnecessarily harsh with me, he apologized.

Regarding the scam he just fell victim to, I'll describe that in subsequent posts. I will note that young Rampage was already scammed by former child/teen actor Grayson Goss, though in Rampage's defense, Goss apparently hit a ton of people to fund his gambling habit.

On a smaller scale, Rampage was also once scammed by a cab driver, who talked him into being bought into a $1k event for a 50/50 split, only to have the guy take the $1k and vanish on him.

In short, Rampage doesn't seem like a bad guy, and has some poker talent, but he has a lot of maturing to do.

I'll post about the most recent scam next...

Shortly after Rampage won the WPT in January, he felt like splashing around money, and stupidly did it with an obvious scammer. He got taken for $450k!

Surprised that a young, social media savvy guy like Rampage fell for a scam by a guy with a million bought followers, but that's apparently what happened. Not sure exactly what was promised to Rampage -- some kind of insanely good ROI for an "investment", and of course the guy just took the money and shot it off.

Click on all of the pictures in the tweet, including the one with the text messages. The text message one actually plays 4 seconds of the scammer's voice trying to semi-threaten him.

However, Rampage gives no shits, and is actually offering this guy to have a bare-knuckle fight on livestream in order to get out of what he owes! The dude does not seem interested.

Of course, like many scammers do, this Dustin Aab guy is now playing victim, claiming that his family is getting threatened (likely bullshit), and that Rampage is responsible (false).

There is a misconception that someone is legally responsible if they call out another person on social media, and unrelated third parties do bad things to them. This is false, unless the call out instructs others to commit illegal acts (Rampage didn't), or if the call out is false (which it doesn't appear to be).

Tariq Reed: Dustin Aab isn't too smart if he's publicly admitting that "I'm in the wrong here and I will make you whole". That's a complete confession and admission of guilt that should crush him legally. But Rampage doesn't seem very smart either, so who knows.

For me Todd it's hard to feel sorry for Rampage if this kid is really gonna give a complete stranger 450k. It's beyond absurd, stupid and makes me start to wonder how intelligent Rampage is. He comes off as you wrote very social media savvy yet he gives a stranger life changing money like he is worth 100 million.

And I'm sorry but then this dumb challenge to a bare knuckles fight looks even more stupid.

This was absolute act of lunacy on Rampage’s part. The figure is just absurd. I guess when you can raise a million dollars online to be staked in a cash game with total ease, money really does devalue. I can see getting rolled for a few grand here and there…but this kind of money to just basically flush down the toilet…kid needs his head checked.

This was a parody of the WSOP 30-year Main Event buyin giveaway, which had just occurred. Hilarious.

Dumb kid with too much money to blow makes dumb choices. Imagine giving THAT MUCH on an uncollateralized, unsecured loan and feeling safe because the guy has pictures of himself holding money on social media lol

I believe him and Mariano are making tons of money from the PokerBros app. Sometimes you do stupid things with money when it is flowing in easily.
