OFFENSE
The offensive has been offensive. They are totally out of sync. The o-line is going to get Jay Cutler( Qb rating 58.6 and 31st in the league) killed. Forte was injured(week to week) in the Green Bay game and missed the last game. Bush filled in nicely. Cutler was off target a lot against the Rams and needs to regain his confidence. His footwork has been sloppy, thus resulting in errant throws and ints. Their h-back Rodriguez was injured(status uncertain). They replaced their starting left guard(Spencer) with former 49er Chilo Rachal. They ran the ball more effectively against the Rams. Hopefully things will improve or it will be a long season. Alshon Jeffery is only going to get better.
DEFENSE
The defense has been lights out.
They have given up 14 points to Indy, 16 to Green Bay, and 6 to the Rams. The front four has been kicking ass and taken names. They have tremendous depth. Urlacher is sill getting into playing shape and Briggs is Briggs. Jennings has 4 interceptions and 2 tips that were also intercepted. One was a pick six for Major Wright last game. Their first round draft pick Shea McClellin is doing fairly well with 1.5 sacks.
Special Teams
No one will forget that fake field goal by Green Bay for a touchdown. At that time Bears were losing 3-0 and they went for a block. Gould has been awesome(6-6 on F.G.) and Podlesh is averaging 43.6 per punt. Hester has not broke a return for a touchdown yet but has been close a few times.
