The Las Vegas Sun has a political cartoon caption contest every few weeks.
The latest caption contest involves US Senate candidates Dean Heller (Republican) and Shelly Berkley (Democrat), who are locked in a tight race.
I saw this on Facebook about 2 weeks ago and decided to enter a caption.
To understand what I wrote, you need to be familiar with Glen Lerner, who is a shyster accident lawyer, infamous around Vegas for his wacky commercials and catchy jingle:
If anyone ever claims to live in Vegas and you don't believe them, simply ask "Who's Glen Lerner?", and if they don't know, they don't live here.
So my caption contest entry was:
"I guess we're going to find out in 10 seconds who Glen Lerner is voting for."
The Las Vegas Sun editorial staff picked the 5 best captions, and mine was chosen.
It is currently tied for first place with 47 votes:

I didn't rig any votes. I voted for myself, but no friends or family have voted for it. In fact, I only noticed just now that I made the finals. Voting continues until September 26th at 5pm PDT.
I believe they print the winning cartoon in the Las Vegas Sun and I get an autographed copy from the cartoonist.
Not a big deal, obviously, but thought it would be cool if I ended up winning.
No, I'm not asking for people to stack the votes for me. Only vote for mine if you really think it's best.
