I think a nationwide Portillos is going to be a failure. It's rare a family of four is going to make a special trip out for hot dogs, especially when you can grill them at home for 1/5th the price. I have been to the Chicago Portillos a couple times and got a Chicago dog there. Yeah it was fine, more of a gimmick because the place is famous and it was in Chicago.
I will say this 100%, the hot dog at Circle K on the coils when cooked through is just as good as Portillos.

Sold a little early, 20.55. I needed to lock in gains, held quite a while on this one it seems to have a trading range of 15-22 for about a year now. Good company but I get this shorts argument this is overvalued. CEO is great, people don't realize he got his PHD in Germany. No big deal, right?
