I will say that he managed to have an immune system of steel, having spent hours with me in a room during the height of my COVID transmissibility (before I realized I had it), and he didn't catch it.

I think we all learned Covid was not nearly as transmissible as the media let on. I was in the car with my son and wife for three hours and each contracted it. I did not get it. 4 months later I got it and they did not despite sleeping next to my wife the night before I tested positive. I still have never met anyone that has been seriously sick from Covid. Looks like a media overreaction in retrospect, and it definitely helped Biden in the election, which I assume was the point anyway. 6 million people died in two years on a planet that houses 8 Billion people. LOL, hardly the bubonic plague. The 1918/1919 flu was far more lethal.

There seems to be a wide range in how transmissible each person is. It is unknown what causes this variance. That's where the term "super spreader" came from -- defined as a person who is massively transmitting.

I think it's possible that I was not transmitting at all.

I was in sustained contact with 5 people during my time with COVID last year, before I realized I had it:

Person #1 (radio listener, not a forum person): Did not catch COVID

Person #2 (old friend from Vegas, not a poker player): Did not catch COVID

Person #3 (Brandon): Did not catch COVID

Person #4 (tradershky): Did not catch COVID

Person #5 (Matt the Rat): Caught COVID


However, Matt the Rat also was playing in Paris WSOP room the entire week, which was the same place I presumably caught COVID. Therefore, it is very possible Matt got it from the poker room, and not from me.

All of these people spent substantial time indoors with me, sat fairly close by, and did not get COVID.
