This isn't a typical ownership position as there is no vital revenue generated here. Still, Todd has recently mentioned the feedback he receives about this forum. Repercussions exist for everything.

several years ago I installed some new equipment after hours and didn’t finish until about 3 am. Was too tired to drive home and I had to be back at like 8 am anyways so I got a cheap room at the local Motel 6. Never again……I was in an upstairs room and went outside for a smoke and from downstairs all I could hear was a woman yelling……”work it boy, work it. Work that pussy”. Over and over. LOL

When Marty was in town he stayed a week or so at this same Motel 6. One night he called the front desk at like 4 am asking them if they were going to do something because it sounded like a block
Party going on outside. They told him he could check out and find a different hotel if he wanted. W

Years ago I was looking to book the Ellison Hotel around Venice Beach. The place just has amazing character. As I began to look into it however I changed my mind because 1) there is huge variance in terms of room quality, 2) It's basically a slum lord trying to evict tenants to slowly turn it into a hotel, and 3) it's literally located in one of the worst vagrant spots in all of West LA. In the end I decided it just wasn't worth risking my safety and piece of mind.

I think you are much better off renting something like the Candy Cane inn motel in anaheim. Much cheaper than 4 star hotels in area and you'll get just as good if not better experience.

I've been to the Candy Cane Inn. Pretty solid place as far as location and quality, motel-wise. The only downside is that the rooms are small.

I just could not imagine swimming in a hotel pool. The fecal matter floating around from people recently taking a shit is absolutely nauseating. I know plenty of people that will literally freak out if they see a hair on a bathroom floor of a hotel. But have no reservation of standing next to someone morbidly obese in a pool whom you know probably shit two or three times already and is just oozing fecal matter. I mentioned this before, but on a cruise this 300 pound dude sprinted in the bathroom while I was taking a piss at the poolside bathroom. He took the most horrendous shit you ever heard, the green haze damn near choked everyone out. I quickly gt the fuck out of there and literally 2 minutes later he was back in the pool. Last time I ever ventured in a public pool.

No offense but what planet are you living on to think that you can get an ‘extended stay’ in Las Vegas for 400 bucks a week ?

Maybe in Wichita, Kansas or Buttfuck, Oklahoma

During the week the very best you can find is about 80 bucks a night unless you want a complete rat hole…then maybe you can find a room for slightly less

You can get a full week at Charlie's Boulder right next to Freemont street for $541, that includes taxes. Place has a Casino onsite, along with a Dunkin onsite. Also has a fridge inside each room. Looks like Tyde got played on his current choice by about $400 or more a week. He just needed to hunt around a little but obviously impatient.
