Brothers Tyde is an inspiration. All day yesterday I sat in my office dreaming of hitting the road. I pretended "maybe I will finish early and just cruise A1A for a few hours". Instead I sat on my computer and worked all day and all night fixing a problem that has been plaguing me for months and will continue for several more months.
Guys like Tgull are the "marks" while thinking they are the "sharps". Save up, max out that 401k, don't think of spending money on a nice place by the beach. Live in a windowless studio in the middle of nowhere. Don't take any risks. Never live on the wild side. Then maybe when you are 70 you will be able to afford to take a cruise and reasonably afford the on shore excursion.

Las Vegas is a swirling, sucking, eddy of despair filled with drunks, homeless and assholes. It was a big mistake coming here in the first place.
When I left this town almost 10 years ago, I swore I’d never come back. This place is toxic, and i’m heading back to the coast as soon as possible

The daily is really soft as you know, A chance to make some nice scores. Last year I played one late in the series and all I could think is man I should have played these all series but being a degen trying to make huge score I am gonna play wsop events this year again and play daily when I get a chance.
The offer still stands if you want to drive back in a few weeks. I will be there on the 19th. I would like to have a sweat in the daily while playing the other wsop events.

Brother I completely understand what you are saying. Last time I was in Vegas I made a post on this forum detailing similar emotions. I was there for business, not poker, but even going to and from a conference center and meetings at the Casinos was enough to disgust Nicky Pipes.
When you live a coastal lifestyle surrounded by sunshine and positivity, it is immediately demoralizing to enter a hellish place like Las Vegas.
Not my type of town pal, if you ask me I prefer my village by the sea.

I did want to add that I’m safely off the strip hanging out at the Palms with my car secured in parking garage.
Just getting away from the strip and the nasty ass ghetto Horseshoe is a huge victory in itself

Crystal clear star filled night skies is hard to beat. I did love that part of living here, and spent plenty of nights stargazing out in the middle of nowhere in that Grand Cherokee I was driving with a ‘TYDEPKR’ license plate
