I really hate all of the identity stuff infecting every area of our culture.
The desired goal should be everyone feeling proud and unashamed of who and what they are, and then living their lives the way they want. It should not be separating people into identity groups, nor should it be invading others' spaces, nor should it be forcing people to automatically accept without question wild new concepts.
When I was in high school in the '80s, there were zero out gay people. Not just at my school, but any school. It just wasn't a thing. If you came out as gay, it was either in college or later.
That changed, and it's fine. Most people become aware of their sexuality by their teen years, and there's no need to hide that from people once you realize it.
However, now we have all these new radical ideas which seem to change on a daily basis, and if you dare question any of them, you are considered the devil.
The whole thing is very regressive. For a long time we were getting closer and closer to the point where race, sexuality, and religion were not considered something that divided us, and people were integrating and not worrying about this stuff. Now we have more division than ever, tons of people feel the need to identify as some sort of victim class (even if they aren't at all), and we're back to regressive stereotypes of what constitutes male and female behavior.
And you're not allowed to make jokes or mock anything anymore, unless the targets are Christians or straight white males, in which case it's totally okay.
The Dodgers need to stop all of this shit, and shut up and play baseball.
