I'm saying that I am trying to balance having a non-monetized, free speech site and being a publicly known figure in poker in the Year of Our Lord 2023.
Every year at the WSOP I take shit from people regarding the content here. It's always some form of the same conversation, but each year it becomes a bigger deal, given society's increasing sensitivity.
I will never engage in any form of ideological censorship here, but the offensive stuff just for the sake of being offensive has to be toned down.

Well, in fairness 1/4 of Twitter's content now is videos of black people savagely beating up people of other races, with lots of head stomping. So it isn't like there isn't places to go to get such content if that is your thing.
I will say it is a little interesting that as a society we have seemingly decided that reporting on this increasingly common occurrence is a bigger problem than the fact it is happening with such frequency at all.

It was a funny video but it unintentionally speaks to Druff’s world. Poker appears to be played on social media and Druff loves both social media and poker and wants to be part of that community. Was never my thing. My eyes have never seen a Facebook page.
It’s plain to me that Druff triple distilled his radio show to nearly 100% proof poker. Less nonsense and more “fraud show” as a former cohost once described it.
Again, not my thing but Druff has given me a lot of enjoyment in the past decade and I’m gonna support him.
I’ve also noticed Druff has dialed back his pahticipation in political and world event threads in a huge way. I try to troll him and lure him in but won’t be baited.
This is Druff’s life and his site. It does kinda piss me off the other poker yokels have drawn big numbers and perhaps money in poker media. They are ALL Johnny-come-latelys and suck as a rule. No respect for the OG. I’m serious.
On a related note Tellafriend, you have demonstrated perhaps the clearest most rational world view on this site. Especially things financial. You have a great feel for the macro trends. Here’s the facts: The business of America and American politics is business. The infertile millenials with their dogs & the pitiful numbers of sterile zoomers aren’t gonna cut it if America is gonna make it or possibly thrive. Simply not enough workers or consumers. We are going to be forced to import them. Despite the immigration conversation today the solution will inevitably be large numbers of immigrants from countries that still make babies. I’m not so sure the faces will be LatinX either. Personally, I doubt it.
Sure I would prefer parents had the birds and bees talk with kids but that’s “boomer think”.
I had a service business and got out for many reasons including staffing. The new owners just did a across the board 10% salary increase. They didn’t do that cause they are swell guys. They are actually kind of young and are gonna learn some things. May god have mercy on their souls. They would gladly welcome some Indian or Asian help or customers for that matter. Guys like these owners will communicate that need to their representatives. Need bodies.

However, each year at the WSOP I deal with people asking me why I allow so much offensive material on my site. I explain to people that I just provide a platform for people to express themselves, and don't agree with a lot of the shit posted here, but that doesn't satisfy anyone.
I am a believer in free speech, which is why I have been part of the free-speech type online poker forums over the past 2 decades, but we also can't pretend it's still 2008. I'm trying to balance the changing times/standards and my commitment to allowing free speech on the site.
The best response to those at the WSOP would be, “the members all hate me on PFA”.
