U2 sucks. Beatles were great, but not top 5. Zeppelin definitely belongs in there. Stones are great.
You should consider...
1) Yes - Most talented band of Proper Musicians Ever assembled
2) New Orleans Radiators - best Jam Band ever
3) Rush - can't believe a hoser like you didn't bring them up, especially because they were great.
En boca cerrada, no entran moscas
Wow. Wow. "Beatles were great"? You said that and followed up with the New Orleans Radiators? Don't chime in ever again. This is bands, ever.
A three piece is almost not applicable. Rush, certainly, but they are not top five ever and are a three piece.
Idiot
The Deaf, Dumb and Blind Association recognizes the Beatles as number one, you moron.
Top five update. Gotta be Pink Floyd??
I just noticed, not one Yankee band. ha ha ha
I don't like saying this but the Beach Boys might #5
but are they a band or a cluster of homosexuals?
.
Nope
It's Queen
that's it no more entries

the ramones belong
The Beatles forever, but they don’t make the list because they sucked live. I’ll keep it to the best bands I’ve actually seen:
1. The Who; 2. Jeff Beck with the Jan Hammer Group; 3. Pink Floyd; 4. AC/DC; 5. Van Halen.
Close, but no cigar: Eagles, U2, Grateful Dead, Rush, Kinks, Bruce & the E St. Band.
The Dead should make the cut every time!! Coldplay, Guns N' Roses, Genesis and Oasis could take a spot depending on the day. Stones, Dead, Beatles, Coldplay, Traveling Wilbury's is where I'm at rn. U2 had a couple good songs Les. 2 or 3 songs. The others are either terrible or played out.
Top five done
Beatles
Stones
U2
Led Zeppelion
#5 with a bullet
Are you insane? I don’t give a fuck who you beat off to.
Thread title, best ever, top five
No where does it say top five seen or those seen live
This is an objective ranking based on population and popularity
Let me rescue this thread with a decent tune.
This is one of those tunes you like the very first time you hear it.
.
I have no sleep after reading Jami post.
"Beatles sucked live". The only reference you have for this comment is Beatle mania. We all know what that was?
It waS a scream fest. They said it themselves, not worth playing.
Secondly, the Beatles popularized bands. Not that many prior to them. Solo talents yeah, but not bands.
Criticizing a band's stage performance can be applied today but not with the originators
ugh at you cracker nerds its outkast top 5
rofl gunit rounding out that top cinco
Van Morrison > Most Bands
The Beatles were actually pretty good live:
"The horror of marxism is not that bad people do bad things; it's that good people do horrible things thinking they are doing something great." Slavoj Zizek
This is better than the studio version, It's a shame about the face glitter.
