    *** OFFICIAL *** NFL 2023 Playoffs thread

Brandon Staley is going to get fired.

Chargers, who have been inconsistent chokers all season, did their best Colts imitation. They blew a 27-0 lead in the wildcard game, losing 31-30 in the final seconds.

It was the third biggest blown lead in playoff history. (Ironically the Colts, who blew a 33-0 lead in the regular season, also have the second biggest comeback in NFL playoff history.)

Who do you guys like to win the Superbowl. The top 5 favorites are (in order):

    1) Chiefs
    2) Bills
    3) Niners
    4) Eagles
    5) Bengals

I had thought the Niners were a good pick as Superbowl winners, as they are the most balanced team, and they have the best defense. They also won 10 in a row to finish the regular season, and managed to hold off Seattle today, despite a poor 2nd quarter where they allowed an uncharacteristic 17 points. I didn't love how they looked today against the Seahawks, so I'm less high on them right now, even though the game didn't end up close. The Niners also had the easiest schedule this year.

Eagles look like they're going to choke. Jalen Hurts isn't feeling 100%, and even before that, the Eagles were underperforming for awhile, even when winning. Their dominant days from early-mid season seem to be over. This just appears to be a team on decline.

The Bills closed out the season nicely, answering questions about their inconsistency early on. Niners and Bills have the best defense in the NFL. At the moment, I think the Bills have the best chance to win.

Bengals have quietly been one of the best teams in the NFL, but this was somewhat obscured because they had an 0-2 start. Overall the Bengals have had the toughest overall schedule of any playoff team, and they went 12-2 in their final 14 games. They're the best value futures pick right now, at +650.

The Chiefs just haven't looked strong at the end of the season. Sure, they finished winning 5 in a row, and 6 of 7, but those victories were against the Rams, Broncos (2), Texans, Seahawks, and Raiders. I don't see them winning it all.

It is time. The superstar will have his day. Josh Allen will push, pull or drag the Bills to a championship.

    Five bucks anyone

I saw Patrick Mahomes absolutely destroy the Niners in the second half earlier this year. What an athlete. I’m going with the Chiefs. Headed to Santa Clara this weekend for the SF Dallas game. Go Niners!

What the Fox is going on. Fox coverage is embarrassing. What are they trying to do? Two no name announcers and an effort to spice it up visually.

Beyond this do not bet on sports. Buffalo. Throw yourselves off a cliff

If pornstar Jimmy G is ready what do you do with the kid Purdy next rounds of playoffs ?

Kyle Shanahan must be the 3rd best coach in the NFL though. He will manage this like a boss.

I was correct regarding the Bengals being the best value futures pick.

Incorrect about the Bills having the best chance. They got stomped on today. I guess I couldn't have been right with both of these, as someone had to win today.

Eagles looked great, but that was more of a function of the Giants being terrible.

Chiefs handled the Jaguars fairly well, and did better than the score indicates, but it wasn't a dominant game.

As we stand right now, I'm predicting the Niners win it all.

Les, this is still too funny to me...

    1976, CFL Grey Cup.

The fucking Rough Riders defeated the Roughriders...not a misprint.

I doubt there's been a more evenly futures-matched NFL season just before the two divisional championship games:

Very small amout of value on eagles SB at +280.

The rest you would be better off playing ML this week and parlaying the SB ML.
