I’m glad McCarthy is failing miserably. He is an egotistical POS who thinks it’s his fucking birthright to have the job after he didn’t win several years ago. Having the audacity to move into the Speakers Office before there was even one vote held. Also quite frankly his SuperPac taking money from FTX and he’s playing politics and not contributing in several races that were close are partially to blame for the shit results for the GOP similarly to what that asshole turtle McConnell did with NV and AZ.

Everyone should read Profiles In Courage by John Kennedy. The 20 holdouts have done all Americans a big favor. It all comes down to all the crap you get shoved down your throat with the spending bills put together by just a few people in Congress, like this latest monstrosity, the 1.7 Trillion dollar omnibus bill.

12.6 billion for continued prosecutions of J6 gets thrown in with 11 billion to give to illegal aliens and 47 billion to Ukraine then they wrap it up with the 860 Billion for defense to insure the 12.6, 11 and 47 billion gets passed. And it was all put together by just a few people at the top.

The folks back home want to know why their Congressman voted for the bullshit in the bill. His response is "I had to vote for it because of the 860 billion for defense. You don't want us to have a weak defense do you?" So the American people get shit shoved down their throats that they don't want.

These 20 holdouts demanded that all appropriations are voted on separately. They are pulling it off. It is absolutely positively good for the country.

Over the decades the Rules Committee has incrementally given more and more power to the Speaker. That power is just to damn centralized. It usurps the power of most of the people in Congress. To the point that the average congressperson is just a figurehead with zero percent say in anything. The Speaker power needs to be broken up. Thank God for the 20 holdouts.
