This is another dodge by David Weiss. He's staying clear of the tax charges because that would implicate Joe Biden. They are setting it up for another plea deal where Hunter does no jail time. Joe is not going to let Hunter go to jail anyway. He'll use the pardon pen before he let's that happen.

You’re right. The future of politics is the weaponization of the justice system - by whomever is in power. This is the way most of the world works and ultimately it appears we are no longer immune
