    Canada vs. Australia

So many similarities. They (Aussies) are too big for their britches.
The male Aussie accent is awful. Much like a U.S. southern drawl I have to turn away. A y'all or good day mate is enough to make me chuck

(all day for the female version of both accents btw)

They have no control over their vowels.
Beer is one syllable you dingos. It's beer not bee-ah... take a class

Ian Baker Finch, Greg Finchy Norman.
    I've said enough

This may be the divide. I am Canadian, an offshoot of many greater Canadians.

I will not google anything in this respect. Do you understand where google obtains it's information?

I do not care about anyone's opinion beyond those involved

    You're still good. Relax

If you identify with the "American" viewpoint
    all things said and done,
    no more discussion is necessary

I simply pointed to a culture that is similar to my own. I feel no such connection to our next door neighbour

OK, I did I foresee a weakness and it has surfaced. These Australian colonials have no battle experience and will retreat under any pressure

Canada is America's attic. We don't go up there frequently, but when we do, we find some cool stuff. Except Les.

Back in the 80's I traveled the Alaska Highway a lot. Quebec separatism was going strong. The Canadians out west, British Columbia, Alberta, Yukon, were like "Fuck 'em. If they secede we'll join the United States."

More interestingly, generally, is Ireland. What a story.
