    Seahawks field club trip report

So today was an awesome day. We were invited to the Field Club at Century Link stadium, which meant we were in a private club right off the field (free beer and wine obv), and were able to come and go to the field as we please before the game.

Here is a shot of the tunnel the team comes out of during introductions and the way we got the field during the game. That's tony jr to the left with the flag.

A shot of the field as we came out of the tunnel.

Getting up close and personal with god himself Pete Carroll.

A shot of the stadium from the field.

    Self explanatory

A group of Seahawks including Ben Obomanu and Richard Sherman about to head out to warm up.

The signed 12th man directly next to the Seahawks locker room.

Young Richard Sherman heading back out.

This is the head of security telling me I can't take my beer on the field.

    The official Seahawk.

    Big Red Bryant during introductions.

Seahawks pro bowler safety Earl Thomas

Then to top it off the hawks kick the crap out of the Cowboys and life is good.

awesome. I will be heading up for the Vikes-Seahawks game, looks like a kick-ass stadium to see a game in.

Cool report Tony. Couple of questions? Do your ears ring after the games? On tv the fans are so loud they drown out the referee.

Is it a meet and greet with the coach?

What's the condition of the field like? It looks a little different than other artificial surfaces.

Stadium looks awesome, do you sit on the sunny side?

Didn't know there was a real Seahawk.

    Here's one seat I wouldn't care for.

    What a game eh?

My ears weren't to bad today, but normally they ring for a day or two and I'm pretty damn hoarse as well. No meet and greet with the coach, and I was just a minute late from getting a picture of Pete Carroll with Tony Jr.

They actually have brand new field turf down and it was awesome. Very soft and grasslike and light years removed from the old Brady Bunch backyard carpet over concrete that they had at the Kingdome.

A true Seahawk is an osprey but I think they use a falcon on game day.

Our seats are on the Seahawks (shady) side, but behind the drip line which is important for rainy days. Here is a pic from the row behind us, our seats are the first four from the left railing, which puts us on the 5 yard line.

I've always wondered why a grown ass man would wear another grown ass mans jersey. Kids are fine, but I just couldn't wear another mans Jersey like because he throws a ball or Hits a ball or kicks a ball whatever that would somehow justify a man idolizing another man so much that he would wear a jersey with another mans name on it. Sorry just ranting looked like a fun day especially after the ass whoopin they put on the boyz.

Nice pictures. Thanks for sharing them here.

BTW, Mad Dad, I swear this video you posted is so much like an occasionally recurring dream about Dodger Stadium:

I pretty much dream that Dodger Stadium is way bigger than it is, and that I am stuck in the worst seats in the park, super high up and often with some sort of obscured view.

You should, that one will be awesome.

Let's not forget Golden Tate laying the wood on Sean Lee. This one was right in front of us.

That's all kinds of cool Tony. Great facilities up there. That stadium looks awesome on TV, and UW with the tailgating on the boats is probably one of the coolest college traditions.

Very cool, i grew up a die hard seahawks fan in the anthony simmons derryl jackson sean alexander koren robinson days. i would stay up all night to watch them because i ws such a die hard fan. I would play madden day and night franchise mode as the seahawks for months strait after madden would come out each year. Havnt been a fan in a ling time since i moved east, but they look like they could be sick this year, finally have a heavy hitting secondary since hamlin left. now all they have to do is win on the road, which has been hard for them for like the last 20years easy. But the seahawks getting poins at home was LOL, included it in a 4 team parlay all home teams that won me 164$ on a 20$ bet. i bet the sea stl sdg and pit and they all won too bad didnt bet the other two home teams sfo and atl aswell den is getting raped tonight.
