Yep they’re great and extremely versatile but undoubtedly way overpriced. Great for high temp cooks like steaks and pizzas but work even better for low and slow like brisket, pork butts, ribs etc. Mine was a very special occasion gift but if I was buying my own I’d go with the generic one sold at Costco.very expensive hibachi...

Got the puppy fired and ready to go. Almost game time.
Steaks lived up to my expectations; they were great. Overcooked mine a bit which is disappointing but nevertheless they we’re delicious. Not sure I’d spend the money on these myself unless for a very special occasion but the gift was certainly appreciated.

Normally would be a Cab as it’s what my wife prefers but this was actually an Italian Red from a tiny vineyard in Tuscany. It’s a 100% Sangiovese. We stayed at that vineyard 7-8 years ago or so and had a case shipped back; mostly of their Chianti’s. This was a special bottle and thought it worthy of the waygu which was something I’d never cooked before until yesterday.Looks fantastic & it doesn't look overcooked in that picture.

Mrs Daly and Inwere supposed to fly to Ireland today and visit the UK along the way. She wanted to try the Chef Ramsey Beef Wellington while we were over on that side of the pond. Try and cheer the old hag up.
