Yes the Casino screwed up but in so much as they didnt flag the customer as being in an invalid/ineligible location due to a screw up on their part due to their license. If they paid out likely they could face a sanction from their license holder agreement because they indeed violated the terms of their gaming license. Its complicated to say the least. Its not like the OP deliberately tried to circumvent the TOS playing when they knew they were not eligible to do so unlike some other folks who've done exactly that on some poker sites. OP is within their rights to file a complaint with CGC (Curacao Gaming Commission) I would think where that goes is beyond me. The right thing would be for the casino to eat the jackpot and tweak their hold on the slots to slowly make up the difference. (I believe they can do so in their backoffice of those online slot machine settings just increase the hold by say 1% and they should be able to recoup the loss reasonably quickly). Should be noted this casino had 3 other complaints this year on CasinoMeister.
