I'm a little skeptical about this.
The way the SUV just exploded like that really IS something out of a movie.
In reality, in all of the car crashes I've passed in my nearly 25 years of driving, I've never seen one where the car disintegrated like that. I've seen cars crushed, burned, and smashed, but never knocked into a thousands of little pieces. Cars just aren't built that way.
Also, watch the reaction of the cars behind the truck that did the damage. They don't seem to react at all. They just seem to keep driving, which is highly unlikely with that debris spraying everywhere.
Also, why was the person recording the road like that? And they just happened to be recording right when that happened?
I think this was some sort of good special-effects job, or perhaps lifted from a movie.
looks real to me... wondering if that was a state trooper with his camera rolling. bad luck for the guy in the little truck with the cap on it. everything that could go wrong went wrong.
wondering if it was a reckless kid in the truck cause he might have accelerated causing loss of control once he hit the center area and landed in the snow/ice. ease off the gas a lil not punch it.
its 100% real. driving at those speeds the SUV practically came to a complete stop by being sideways. and when a 18-wheeler hit something going full speed its going to destroy the SUV. (thats what obv happened)

Do we need to have a deep discussion on physics?I think it is needlessly fake at the point of impact, 23 to 24 second mark. The sliding prior to impact matches the effect of humps of heavy slush outside of prior tire tracks pulling a vehicle into the hump. The biggest hump is in middle of the 4 lanes and once the suv/p-u gets its left tires into that hump it is all over. Even in head on collisions vehicles don't explode like that. Volkswagen Crossfox in Brazil. Check the gawkers up the hill trying to stay in the shade.
