I have left a small escrow with Todd for when the time was right and I found a spot to my liking. Now is the time.

The CJ is played this weekend at one of the PGA longest courses. Its 7600 yards and has three par 5’s and two par 4’s that are reachable. They are only reachable if you can hit the ball a ton off the Tee (obviously).

As such “Gun to head” i make Rory, Rham, Fitz and even Cam Young as my most likely winners. Rory and Rham are Sub 10-1 as you would expect. Fitz and Young are in the low 20’s and i think there is some small value there.

There is one other player in the field who is top 10 in distance. He is great “tee to Green”. He has finished near the top at similar long courses including the Honda where he finished third last year.

The player is Kurt Kitayama.

Kurt is available at long odds considering the resume what its going to take to win here. He was listed at bookmaker.heygee at 120-1 and was near instantly hammered down to 60-1. Hes available today at most other slow moving books between 80-135 to 1.

Todd has graciously booked us 100 to win 9000. I have enough wagered on Kurt that im moving to the south of France to buy a vinyard when he wins so Ill cover another 2k or so when the time comes.

Bookmaker is the exchange with the sharpest odds. Similar to circa in Vegas they will let anyone with a BTC wallet step up and bet to win $50K. As such they don't play games with the odds like some of the other offshores. Yeah you can get Rham at 10-1 at betonline or vinny down the dog track but good luck trying to collect more than a few K. If want to bet to win 50K on Rham the real price is +935

Kurt is hanging out with the 20th best odds to win significantly improved from the opening number. If you are curious Kurt was the top mover but Keith Mitchell moved equally big from 80-1 down to 45-1 (and is available at locals at 80-1 as i type this).

Am I calling lock? No. But hes a lot fucking better bet than Tom Hoge, Jason Day and a host of others who are in this price range.

We did our job - now lets hope he does his.

Im “almost happy” he didn't sink 16 or 18 because if he finished as first round leader and we didn't bet it here i would have felt stupid.

One stroke back at the end of day 1. He had the best round of the late wave.

Am I correct that current odds are 9/1 for Kurt? For some dumb reason I had to drive 50 miles to make the bet and the craps table was fucked but I'm happy to have done it either way.
