As usual, without any training, experience or education Todd knows how to do something better than the experts.

You know nothing about how a polygraph is administered or why it works.

Here are just a couple of points:
Of COURSE there were more than three questions. The company is not going to tell you exactly what they did. They have proprietary methods and trade secrets just like many businesses.They are not going to let an outsider come in and tell them how to run their tests! They provided results.
Having a neutral third party, who provided the questions, in the room would invalidate the machine's electronic interpretation of the responses.
I'm not going to go into why this is so. Take a class, read a book!

Polygraphs are much more reliable than they were a decade ago. But the law is slow to catch up with technology.

Serious question because I must have missed something, Why was Eric Persson's test "more reliable?" and when did she agree to take it and then reneg?

There actually weren't more than 3 questions.

I was wrong about one and only one thing, regarding the polygraph situation. Apparently, you cannot ask more than 3-4 questions in a polygraph test, due to time limitations regarding how long you can safely be hooked up to the machine. The examiner asks 6-7 baseline questions (such as "Do you have 11 fingers?" or "Do you live in the United States?") in order to compare them to the "relevant questions" (the ones we really want answered). The remaining 3-4 questions are the relevant ones.

So I was indeed wrong to criticize there only being 3 questions to the test. That was standard, and I didn't realize it.

However, I was very RIGHT to question the other elements of the test. Namely:

1) Why did she travel 300 miles to a ghetto location in North Las Vegas, just to take a polygraph test?

2) Why was this arranged and directed by her PR firm? Would they have reported a negative result? Did they give her the exact questions well in advance?

3) How many tests did she take before getting this one with the desired result?


If a neutral third party were arranging or supervising the test (rather than her own PR firm), then we could have the following assurances:

1) She only gets one chance to take it

2) The results are reported to the public no matter what

3) The questions aren't provided days in advance

4) The polygraph tester is not being bribed to lie about the results


A polygraph test arranged and reported by a highly friendly party (your own PR firm) is useless.

The day after this hand it was the talk of 7mile card room as I'm sure every card room across the country. My initial thoughts were 95% not cheating and it stayed this way for a few days. All the new info is a clusterfuck and Im 50/50
Having been a low and mid limit prop there are hundreds of hands where I was left thinking wtf just happened. My Mom used to win lowballl tournaments in the 90s and my long time gf has cashed in 3 WSOP events and every time they tell me a hand history they fuck it up or make 0 sense like the way Robbi sounds. If I was forced to take a side now I still say no cheating just some very shady characters from players, stakers, and even the crusher Garrett tarnished his reputation. I shouldn't be surprised and looking forward to a final verdict whenever it plays out.

Yeah, that's much better.
The next time anyone is asked to take a polygraph as a condition for a job or security clearance, say, "Wait a minute, you're friendly with that company, I want to pick who I take a polygraph with," See how that works for you.

Again, nothing is going to satisfy those who want to believe she is guilty. You can keep piling on conditions until the whole thing is truly meaningless.

In her shoes, the only way I would submit to another test would be if all the shady actors involved (including garrett) agreed to take the same test and I could submit some of the questions for them. "Garrett, have you EVER colluded with another player in a poker game? Have you EVER seen another player's cards and benefitted from the information?"

Had to get the screenshot from 2 plus 2. Not a big deal, but I did notice the font/background on the tweet matches the font/background in the last two HCL statements. This is no big surprise, but just goes to show that Nick is handling the communications not Ryan.

Not surprised Nick is in full damage control. Whatever it is he “has” on Berkey, I’m sure would make Berkey look bad to the extent of what it was. But it certainly wouldn’t make Nick look good or help his situation at all.

We all know the motivation to do a hit piece podcast on Berkey was just to hurt Berkey. Also, Veronica is his co-host & she is friends with Berkey. She probably wouldn’t appear in that hypothetical podcast that isn’t gong to happen. But that’s some really awkward shit.

Ryan Feldman was on Joey’s Podcast last night/this morning and addressed all the accusations from the Reddit thread. He sounded really creditable, explaining why it is all nonsense, and he believes it was posted by one of his ex co-owners from LATB (Live At The Bike).

He explained he was 1 of 5 owners of LATB, but was doing most the work. Around this time Nick Vertucci asked Ryan about being a part owner of LATB, but since Nick wouldn’t bring anything to the business besides an investment, they decided they didn’t need him. Later, Nick told Ryan, if he ever left LATB, they should start their own show at a LA based casino. Ryan eventually gave the other owners of LATB an ultimatum to either pay him more, buy him out, or a few other options. When they found out he was serious about leaving they did make him a better offer but it just wasn’t good enough - so he left. Then Ryan and Nick V. started looking for a casino to do a show. The owner of The Bicycle found this out, and after checking with their attorney and reviewing the contract with the current production company realized they could get rid of the current company with just a months or so notice. The Bicycle secretly offered the contract to Ryan and Nick V. to come in and start a new show. If I heard correctly they even started building a set at LATB. The day of or the day before signing the contract, guess what happen? Crotch Ripper - Mike Postle happened. Since that event put poker live streams into question, it was put on hold. Then Covid happened. Then Bicycle decided not to go forward with it for whatever reason. At the time they probably hated Postle for this, but it eventually worked out for them since they now have HCL.

I thought Ryan said a few things on the pod that he should have keep private. He was explaining how the RFID cards are always having issues. One time the 10 of Clubs had a missing corner lol, anyway they didn’t have a replacement, so they continued to use that same card in the game! If he had said 7 or 8 of clubs (Garrett’s cards) this would have gotten very interesting. What I find intriguing about this is that on Nick’s last show where he is interviewed by Veronica Brill, Nick said that they buy 100 decks at a time and that they still have and use all these decks. Apparently no 10 of Clubs in all these extra decks. Also using these same decks bring up massive security risk involving card marking/bending.


Prior to the Mike Postle incident, Ryan states the security was more lax. One of the LATB owners would actually fix a computer via TEAM VIEWER - Remotely. Wow!

I can just see Mike Postle logging into Team Viewer right there at the table and viewing the hole cards that are on the screen in the control room. I obviously understand that it probably wasn’t done like this but just know the potential was there.

Also, Ryan did verify RIP’s story about how he wasn’t supposed to play on that stream. He confirmed the story the same way RIP told it:

1) Confirmed by text to RIP, the night before if he wanted to play in the game the next day. He said RIP replies that he would. Ryan said he could tell by the spelling, RIP was drunk. This was confirmed when he spoke to RIP a little later that night.

2) Ryan confirmed that he did call RIP about 2 hours before the show. RIP told him he didn’t know if he could come up with the money in time. Ryan told him to come with what he has.


Ryan said that he really wanted Robbi and RIP, since the are “Good for the stream” (fish).
