As long as you are going to talk about CA Propositions 26 and 27 on radio, my question is, can we (CA voters) just vote Yes on both Propositions?

If the hope is to have sports betting in CA, wouldn't it make sense to just vote for both even if you prefer one over the other.

Or would both of them passing have the same affect of neither of them passing (an offset)?

I'm too lazy to give in much thought so hopefully you have.

The answer to this is complex, and I'll explain it on radio.

I'll either do this topic first or second. The other "main" topic of the week is the Laughlin boat damage scam, which victimized a listener. I will have that guy on, and give listeners advice how to avoid it (and what to do if hit by it).

With all due respect I’d be pissed as fuck if a bunch of armed thugs beat on my hotel door when I’m dead asleep. I think they escalated it with the armed private thugs at the door. That was out of line. It could’ve been handled much better by hotel security and he wouldn’t have been as so pissed off..

Thank you for the discussion and analysis of Props 26 and 27. Yes I could do my own research but I hate most of the political bs (in CA particularly) plus I do enough reading in my real line of work.

Will be happy if there is legit sports betting legalized in CA.

When I was editing the show, I almost deleted the part where I gave people the advice about getting in and out of the Caesars self park through the service road, as I figured it was just taking up space and wasn't very interesting.

I ended up leaving it.

Yesterday I got a text profusely thanking me for the tip, as this person recently moved to Vegas, needs to go to Caesars often, and otherwise has difficulty getting back on the 15 south.
