Not sure if there's really a scam or a scandal here, but Ive seen some other threads about different YouTube gambling streamers and I thought it was kinda interesting. Pompsie (Las Vegas streamer, mostly hotel reviews but does other Las Vegas related streams) put out a Roulette video where he and his wife attempted to turn $1,000 into $10,000 by playing Roulette. Plan is to take $500 each, alternate betting Red/Black (they would always bet the opposite of each other) at a video Roulette table and try to both get to $2,500. Then take the full $5,000 and bet it all on black at a live Roulette table.
After hours playing Roulette, he got to $2,500 but his wife didnt. So they decide to bet black twice to get to $10,000. They actually win the first spin to get to $5,000, but lose it all on the 2nd spin. But this just seems like a way to lose $1,000. Why bet it all after getting to $5,000? (or even after the $2,500?). Maybe these streamers make more per video that I realized (or make more in general) that they can afford to waste $1000 for a video.
