    Supreme Court Rejects Affirmative Action - Outlawing Racism Against Honkies and Chinks

    Today, the Supreme Court Rejected Affirmative Action, striking down the practice of Racial Discrimination against Honkies and Chinks by Gringo Lefty Liberal Cunts.

    This is mostly a symbolic victory.

    Universities are still legally allowed to use ZIP code or "an essay outlining the challenges one faced with discrimination growing up" as a way to give non-Asian minority students a leg up in the admissions process.

    Now, instead of establishing racial quotas, they will simply establish "low income ZIP code" quotas, and also grant priority/easier admission to minority students who write about racial challenges growing up (and the students will be encouraged to make this their essay topic).

    This is like buying a state-of-the-art security system for your house's front door, but putting a sign on your lawn saying, "Attention burglars, we leave our back door unlocked, are rarely home, and have not attached our security system to it."

    Ending college racial discrimination in hiring/admissions means completely ending it -- making it illegal to take on any policy likely to result in preferential treatment for a certain race.

    Can you imagine the outrage of colleges gave priority to majority white or Asian ZIP codes?

    California-based news organization CalMatters created a calculator to estimate how much money a person could be owed. The final report lays out possible estimates of reparations owed by the state, including:

    An estimated $13,619 for each year of residency in California, based on a 71-year life expectancy, for harm caused by health care disparities.

    An estimated $115,260, or $2,352 for each year of residency in the state within the 49-year period between 1971 and 2020 to compensate for mass incarceration and overpolicing of Black communities.

    Holy shit, wtf. White people are such push overs. I'd argue they owe us reparations for tolerating their excessive violence and criminality.

    It actually wouldn't be a bad idea for the parent of a white/Asian student to establish a private mailbox in a primarily black or Hispanic ZIP code, and use that for their college application address. Tell the truth about everything else, such as race and whatever, but just get a mailing address in a "preferred" ZIP code.

    I don't see that as unethical, because the preferential treatment by ZIP code is both unfair and attempting to skirt the new law. One good workaround deserves another.

    Like many subjects, the left is completely clueless when it comes to fairness in college admissions.

    Let's say the goal is to get more black and Hispanic students into universities, with the (likely correct) theory that growing up in the poor inner-city is a disadvantage regarding educational performance. Therefore, there are likely a number of intelligent black and Hispanic kids who nevertheless have mediocre grades because of social environmental factors (or lack of consistent parental supervision).

    Wouldn't it be nice if we had a tool to be able to recognize these intelligent-but-underperforming minority students, and give them a chance as young adults to succeed in college?

    Wait, we already had that tool? Yes. It was called the SAT.

    And what happened to the SAT?

    The left got rid of it, and it's now inconsequential for admissions to the vast majority of US universities.

    Why did the left get rid of it? It was seen as a "racist test" because whites and Asians did better on it than other races.




    Now, it's true that white and Asian parents are more likely to be able to afford SAT coaching classes, which can boost a kid's score a little. But you know the solution to that? The gubbmint could provide free SAT prep courses in low-income areas, and it would cost the state very little.

    Instead, they dumped the entire test.

    There's actually no way to buy your way into a good SAT score, unless you outright cheat. The celebrity college admissions scandal of the 2010s proved that. No matter how rich you are, if your kid isn't smart, he's not going to score well on the SAT, even if you give him 100 prep courses. The SAT, in some ways, was the great equalizer in academics.

    But you know what rich white and Asian parents CAN afford? Grade-inflating private schools. And that's exactly what a lot a lot of them are doing. And now there's no additional metric like the SAT for colleges to look at, so they can't pick out those smart inner city kids who just didn't have very good grades.

    The removal of the SAT was great news for the parents of dumb/average rich kids whose grades can be artificially inflated at expensive private schools, and horrible news for intelligent kids in the inner city who underperformed in high school.

    Once again, the left's attempt at "equity" and "fighting racism" backfires immensely. Democrats completely lack common sense. They feel too much and think too little.

    Was thinking about this. Only legal issue about this using the wrong zip code, whomever does this must not use the false address to obtain Student Loans or Grants or Scholarships. It could technically be a violation of Federal and/or State Law.

    My Daughter went to a local Charter School. There was a waiting list to get in, and you had to win a lottery for admission. Some parents in local areas outside the Charter Schools Jurisdiction would use addresses of friends and relatives and one person actually used a Mailbox USA address. Parents with kids that were on the waiting list would report the kids who didn't actually live in the city and the School would do unannounced visits to the addresss to check the claims out. Several kids were caught, and kicked out of the school.

    If this happened with College Admissions with the Loans, Grants and Scholarships, I'm sure the colleges will find out and refer the matter to the attorney general to prosecute.
