Can you imagine the scene behind the car as everyone flocks to get the money?

Nice!.... Cant help but tell this...lol I found $9700.00 in $100.00 bills on the side of the highway abt 6 years ago. Not a 100 percent how it got there.. but some guys hit a wells fargo truck and were on the news throwing out money all the way up the highway...lol It was told on the news that shortly after, most of the money was recovered. I found the money about 4 years later..all the bills were 4 years old but like three of them, those were older....and some of them were in really bad shape, the rats had gotten to them as well as the weather. The first one I found was close to the side of the road and it was white and the face in the middle, was chewed away.. matter of fact I looked down at it and kicked it aside at first, but something nagged at me so I turned around and picked it up and put it up to the sun. I saw the watermarked face and started jumping around (since it still had both serial numbers on it) My husband came running but before he got there I had turned to look further into the desert and about 5 feet away from me, under a short low lying tree, were gobs of bills! I was like "oh my, I think I'm havin a heat stroke or an acid flash back". I was sure they were ones, maybe 5s... you know., but no, every one of them were 100 bills! There were even bills stuck to the bushes that were on either side of a wash that was aprox. 10 feet beyond the 'money tree'.... it was a crazy feeling, finding that kind of cash out there.. I was picking up aluminum cans cuz I was broke! Ha!

I must say that I was just about to delete your post and ban your account, because this was very similar to a spam account that showed up last night.

Last night, we had an account show up named "roxaneditiero" or something. It had the following characteristics:

1) Found an old thread (like this one)
2) Made its first post based upon this old thread (like this one)
3) Was a female name (like you)
4) Did not otherwise introduce themselves (like you)
5) Did not post on any other thread on the forum (like you)

However, the difference is that "Roxane" was from the Philippines and her post claimed (in semi-broken English) to be an American, so I knew right there that it was a backdoor spam attempt. (Basically, the account looks normal at first, then changes its signature to spam after getting in some harmless-looking posts.)

Your account, however, is from the US.

So I won't ban you or delete your message.

But I'm just curious... what led you to PokerFraudAlert, and why did you choose a months-old thread to comment on?

I just couldn't help but post my story, it sure doesn't happen every day..... I do swear that its the truth...I gave my x half (stupid me, he wasn't my x yet....two reasons I was stupid back then..lol ) and then I bought tattoo equipment and blew the rest and have tattooing ever since 2004...lol...
seriously...

I promise you, I am not a spammer or anything like that. Just trying to get my poker on and it's a pain in the neck trying to get money on the sites cause I live way out in the middle of nowhere in a tiny mining town and rarely have our truck at my disposal as my old man works rotating shifts and he loves to double... I don't like to go out of town (aprox 50 mi. to nearest legit grocery store or walmart) when he tries to sleep cuz he wont sleep for worry about what I'm doing... and I hate loading by WU cuz the places I play are all 50 to 100 bucks to load.. I load that much and I get all slap happy and spend it too fast...lol.... Sorry probably TMI but again, thanks for not banning me.

Yes, welcome to PokerFraudAlert. I believe you're real. That's my gut feeling/read on this one.

Just a coincidence that your first post had a lot of resemblance to a spammer from last night. Those spammers are almost always from third-world countries (or Russia), so when I see a US IP address, I am usually more willing to believe it's real.

I saw a few of your posts from 2+2. This one was most interesting to me:

My man and I are both gamblers... we met at a casino and have been together for over four years now... funny thing though, I moved in with him and changed my lifestyle... started staying home 24/7 ... he has a job at a mine and works all kinds of crazy hours and shifts..(I was a party animal to that point...lol)
Anyways, I've always been online since 97 but was doing alot of research before this time. Once I moved in with him and was home all day and night every d and n...I had too much time on my hands and I started checking out the casinos online and wandered into the no deposit bonus stuff.... long story short, I ended up signing up for a nd poker bonus and fell in love with poker. That was two years ago and I can't even imagine life without poker. Problem is, HE thinks I'm an idiot for playing so much and has no interest in poker at all.... The more I love it, the more he seems to hate it! lol... We don't really fight over it, because I limit my $$$ play... But I study and try to improve my game every day. He say's I'll never get anywhere with it, I say I will! lol If I start talking about it he walks away like I am not even there... anyways... to the OP... yes... it's just as possible for the man to be non-understanding.... (Man, I wish I would have poker BEFORE I found him....lol)

Ya, I am... ;0) He's mellowed out a lot since then... and I've learned to play a lot better and have actually got my money back and then some.

Ya... I'm 48 actually... and wow.. 86 is a long time.... i grew up in another mining town about 40 miles from where I live now and we didn't actually get internet service until 97... I was the second subscriber... I was using AOL and their per minute dial up 800 number and PHEW! I racked up 2000 dollars in several months finding out how to use the web and what was available there! Crazy, huh...
