Well I guess the good news is that COVID has now evolved into a mild cold. However, some people just have a cold or sinus infection because the air quality is terrible in Las Vegas right now. Go to Mount Charleston and look down to Las Vegas and you will see the air pollution is awful, worse than Los Angeles.
My buddy and his whole family were positive. Mom and dad had four. Kids three. Daughter had it in January.
This weekend, two anti vax moms I know had it for third time out in the country.
Vaccine, natural immunity, it seems irrelevant at this point. I got the 4th also so I’d like to think it provides some benefit, but it doesn’t appear to. I’ve either had it, or assume I’ll get it. Tbh, I’ve had head colds to the degree everyone is sick right now, with none serious.
I hope you dodge it for your trip, because clearly that’s an expense to get it now. I hope you dodge it forever, but this isn’t the previous strains where everyone over 40 was getting decimated for a few weeks and too tired to get out of bed. This is a head cold with a little congestion.
I have a friends mom who has it at 86 and it’s minor even for her.

I didn’t get the 3rd shot. I’m fine now. It just didn’t affect me all that much. I’ve had worse colds. Like Phil, I couldn’t get any sleep either.
