    **Official** Hustler Casino Live Thread

Forgive me if there already was an official thread, but containing it in one thread makes sense now.

Tonight on the stream is Mr Beast, Ninja, Tom Dwan, Phil Hellmuth, and a couple other YouTube creators I'm not aware of.

This will set records for a live poker stream and likely views as well (although I'm not sure if the content creators will point their viewers to HCL).

I find HCL to be very entertaining and much better than watching a bunch of GTO nerds playing "perfect" poker.

Edit: Game starts either 11pm Eastern/8 Pacific

I'm somewhat curious how you know who Ninja is, but not xqc?

Would seem like anyone would know both or neither. I don't pay that close of attention, is Ninja like super mainstream pop-culture now?

Ryan Feldman is killing it. This guy has a natural talent for networking and putting games together.

In August 2021, PFA Radio had a long interview with him, where he was open about a lot of things, including regarding how the Bike fucked him over. You can find the interview here, at the 1:12:22 mark.

In the meantime, Live at the Bike had their big comeback this week, now branded as Live at the Bike Presented by Bally's. Not only was it an inferior (interest-wise) lineup to what Hustler is presenting tonight, but they chose a baffling "dark" format where it looked like the game was being played under 1860s candlelight. What a fail.

Hellmuth is in the largest +EV game of his life and he sitting there with only 50k, unbelievable. At least Dwan understood these guys have no clue how to play and added on.

Is this the Ninja that does Youtube videos of himself playing one of the online games? If it is I have actually heard of him too but haven't heard of the other guy FWIW. My son watches YouTube videos all the time of dudes playing games while commenting. I dont really pay much attention, but I do recall he used to watch videos from someone named "Ninja" a lot a couple years ago, although not recently.

Apparently he can afford it, but is Mr. Beast just going to donk off several hundred thousand $$ playing junk hands?

4 Way all in pot over $300k without a single premium hand between them. Mr. Beast put in over $80k blind with garbage hand. A9o wins the pot with top pair of 9's.

    Good stuff.

Alex Botez basically broke the game with that pot. She's up > $500K and no one has enough chips to continue.

Will be interesting to see if they allow her to loan money out to keep the game going.....

The way they play I cant imagine Beast or the Alan guy dont have some capacity to rebuy multiple times.

It's funny how she mentioned in the pre game interview that she had people offer to spot her for this game. Mr. Beast can take million dollar swings, I don't know if she can.

Hustler live gained around 5k subscribers in the matter of a few hours. 117k subs to 122k subs.

    Lightbulb

I'm really curious as to what their end game is (Hustler Live). They put virtually no YouTube ads. So I realize when you are "Live" you dont have the option to put ad's. Once the video is up on the channel I see the initial ad at the start of the video and that's it, no more ad's. Is their angle to build the channel up, then plaster it with ad's later on? They can't possibly be profitable right now. I'm really curious to be honest.

I've never known about this or watched until now

Its an interesting cross section here of Gamers/Pros so obviously over Sample size the Poker Pros win, and the Video Gamers just feed the game. This is very interesting and also does draw a wider interest fan base wise.

Now that I know about it ill be keeping an eye out for sure no, interesting cast of character here for sure lol I only know Dwan/Hellmuth myself tbh

I don't think Phil was shooting angles. I think this was a careless moving of his cards. Say what you want about Hellmuth, but he's not known to be an angler.

Still, it's understandable why his opponent believed it was a fold, especially because the guy was a rec player. Big poker badass Phil should have realized what happened, and just given the guy the pot.

Careless moving of his cards? He slid them face down in a forward motion. With no audio or any other thing, the video alone is a pretty damn clear fold. The announcer even said fold. The all in player immediately tapped the table as to say nice hand. ThatÂ’s a fold.
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?
