    Ukraine exports 9% of the worlds wheat & 13% of the worlds corn. If Ukrainian crops are severely limited this year which looks to be the case will cause continued rise in commodity prices. Market price is $10.49/bushel for wheat today. Year ago today it was 7.26/bushel.

    I appreciate and respect the point of view but what is it anyone can actually do to prevent this? I served in the military when I was much younger and now I'm too old to go back. There is not one thing I can or will do to prevent these events and I have no concern whatsoever about it happening. It's a good time to be living in a big city - it'll be over quick. If anyone can fuck things up bad enough for it to happen Uncle Joe is the guy. No sense in worrying at all.

    yes every one should tip toe around the deranged dictator incase he gets mad and fires off a nuke... of course the best solution is to let him do his thing and roll over Ukrainian and what ever country he has a pension for the use does this all the time. Putin will NOT settle for the sliver of land they have taken they will regroup and re arm and continue when ready. killing putin is probably the best for everyone russians included but tuff to do as he probably knows no-one is so excited for war as putin.

    To put an end to this we have to put that option on the table. You may think Russia's invasion of Ukraine is the cause of the current conflict but it is not.
    Adam Schiff predicted two years ago that our policy will be to fight Russia there instead of here.
    This whole thing is based on the lie that Putin helped Trump win the election.

    Everyone needs to see this, we are heading toward a nuclear war up behind some nonsense.

    When it was Saddam, everyone on the right was calling anyone who wanted to pause and think about it Neville Chamberlain. When it’s an actual threat like Russia, they all become Chamberlain.

    And I’m not even arguing Chamberlain is the wrong approach. It’s nuclear war we are talking about. It’s just amusing how appeasement became so popular on the right. To be fair, it’s also amusing how sabre-rattling became popular on the left. All hypocrites.

    We are so devoid of actual leadership and fucked that nuclear obliteration might be optimal compared to our current trend. Vaporize us in a split second compared to this shitshow.

    It's so true. Have you ever seen a leader, besides Trudeau, where literally every policy decision has been the wrong one? Trump sucked but we aren't in this shitty existence right now if Trump were still Prez. By 2024 even the hardcore libs will be begging for the guy to come back. I'll hold my nose and vote for him but I'll need to sell all my energy investments first.

    Biden's not a limp donk, here's a better analogy. Biden's shoving AIPF every hand and China and Russia keep folding but they keep warning us if we keep it up they're gonna call.
    In Russia's case they got a choice call or be blinded out, it's absurd to think they won't eventually call.

Cities would be targeted with multiple weapons, and lethal fallout would cover much of the United States. More than half of the U.S. population would be killed initially, and the survivors would be exposed to radiation high enough to cause lowered disease resistance and greater incidence of fatal cancer.

    That's a hell of a price to pay for some corrupt phony in DC to get on tv and talk tough, I know you guys feel that sense of impending doom.

    Putin's not going to telegraph the launch, he'll want to surprise us, you ready?
