Just listened, and FYI the casinos in Black Hawk are not tribally owned. There are only two Indian tribes (Southern Ute Tribe and Ute Mountain Ute Tribe) and two tribal casinos in southwest CO in the four corners area. All the casinos in Black Hawk/Central City and Cripple Creek on the Front Range were authorized by the CO Constitution in the 1990s, but gaming can only occur in those specific mountain towns and a % of revenues must be dedicated to historic preservation throughout the State. The Maloof Brothers, in fact, owned their first casino in Central City in the early '90s, and last I checked they were not enrolled members of any Indian tribe

Also, under the original law, the casinos were capped at a $5 max bet (so spread limit poker only) until 2009, when the max bet was raised to $100 and the 30/60 limit game began at Ameristar. Then in 2020 CO finally allowed no limit bets and the Monarch stole most of the poker action. Still no great food options. For these reasons and in my experience Denver is mostly a home game town.
