I don't know about anybody else but that last speech from Putin is beginning to be a bit concerning. People in Russia even have pointed out Putin sounded a shit ton like Stalin in that speech. Concerns being voiced Putin maybe in fact becoming a zealot and a paranoid one at that. Macron apparently said when he met with Putin recently it was a different Putin he was talking to. The worst part is Putin drug up the far left bullshit line from the USA of Nazism. Problem is Ukraine fought the Nazis with Russia in WWII and even more so a direct insult to Zelensky of Ukraine who is a Jew himself.

Seeing what was going on yes it sucks but we all knew this was likely going to happen and the ultimate end is either Ukraine rolls over and becomes a puppet of Putin or it turns into another potential Afghanistan situation for Russia with insurgents battling them and death by 1000 cuts for Putin. That was until I read this rather disturbing quote from Putin that could be a monster red flag something more is afoot and that he’s truly gone rogue.

Yeah but IMO, Putin was going to invade Ukraine no matter who was going to be the current US president. He has been working towards this for quite a while - not just during Bidens term. I believe his goal is to more or less take back (at least some) land that was formerly the USSR. Ive been listening to some of his speeches.

He is using the fact that since NATO expanded after the USSR fell, despite the agreements that NATO wouldn't expand in his direction, as a motive to do what he is doing.

This won't stop with Ukraine IMO. I really hope the hell im dead wrong, but I think this is just the beginning. It might take a while after Ukraine for him to make his next moves, but I think its only a matter of when.

The Ukrainians should develop a close relationship with IED's during the Russian occupation.

Trump sanctioned companies constructing the nord stream pipeline. Putin quit building the pipeline. Biden became president. One week later Putin started building the pipeline again.
