Tow truck companies aren't willing to move the trucks. They can arrest the people but the trucks are still going to be there.
The real damage to the Canadian economy, and the U.S., is the Ambassador Bridge between Detroit and Windsor. About 25% of the trade between our countries crosses that bridge to the tune of 350 million dollars a day. Ford and Toyota have both closed plants in Canada because of the bridge blockade. This blockade will hurt Canadians more than Americans.
Another unusual stat I seen but can't really say if it's true or not but its been reported that 1 in 10 jobs in Canada is truck driving.
