Peter Robbins the original voice of Charlie Brown in the specials has passed away at age 65. He was born in 1956 and started working as a child actor in westerns like Rawhide in 1963 and early sitcoms like the Donna Reed Show. He however is best known as the original voice of Charlie Brown starting in 1965 in the original specials. Sadly his life took a rough turn after he left voice acting and he struggled with serious mental health issues include bipolar disorder. He was sentenced in 2015 to 5 yrs in prison for terrorist threats to a mobile home park manager and got out in 2019. His family confirmed he killed himself the end of last week due to his mental health struggles. Just can’t do the laterfag. This guy is a poster child for getting help when you need it and not being afraid to ask for help. Hope he finds the peace now he struggled to find the last 40+ yrs of his life.
