TMMLK loved that segment where you wanted tomatoes on the side and were refused. Could you please do another topic on radio if this is still an ongoing issue with the sandwich shops, etc. TMMLK would love an update.

FREE TYDE, 30-2 LANDSLIDE
Never happened again, and I don't believe it will ever happen again in my life.
Very bizarre situation. The owner just had a weird bug up his ass about people using side vegetables to make a "free" salad (something I couldn't have been doing, since I only wanted tomatoes!)
Because of this thread, Druff retold the story on PFA radio. Then I did it twice and texted the pics to Druff.
This was last August…
Did it today for the 3rd time and have the receipt as proof…
Can somebody please link me to the tomato radio episode please?

Or, if you want to listen on podcast apps, look for the show labeled 11/16/21.
The story is old though... from back in 2010. It was a legendary thread on Donkdown, and actually stirred some debate (some trolling, some serious) as to whether I had the right to ask for the same tomatoes from a Subway sandwich to be put on the side instead of on the sandwich.
Decided to post it on YouTube. Enjoy!
Newsom is coy about the bread exemption and the trade that was involved. I’m sure DeSantis will corner him on this during the upcoming debate. This exemption applies only where the establishment produces for sale bread as a stand-alone menu item, and does not apply if the bread is available for sale solely as part of another menu item."

Tomatoes on the side will live on forever.
Thanks brother
Brother I do not eat vegetables
Someone (not me) just did it at In N Out burger. The issue was a previous patron got tomato ends and this was in response to that.
I went to Subway a few days ago for the first time in a couple years. I noticed they had shredded cheese I had not seen that before I only ever got the the triangle cheese. I was like that looks really good on scrambled eggs, I said hey man you mind taking a handful and put that is a bag? He took one of those cookie bags and put a generous portion in there, at the end of my order I gave him a $2 tip. That is new to Subway the option to tip on your credit card. Next morning I mixed it with scrambled eggs would recommend. Hot sauce as well. Lots of salt and pepper.
At my local Subways you can't even see the food anymore. It's all behind a screen and you can only order from the menu board above the counter. They try to sell it as a good thing.. it's all FRESHLY SLICED!
I don't know what caused the change but I'll never go there again.

https://people.com/subway-will-switc...n-2025-8612873Subway is switching up its drink options next year. The sandwich chain announced a new 10-year agreement to stock PepsiCo products rather than the Coca-Cola beverages it has sold since 2003. The beverage shift will start in U.S. restaurants in 2025.
