    Meatloaf is DD

Not the food the singer… Just broke shortly he passed away with family including his wife by his side at age 74. He had apparently been in significantly declining health for awhile but it had been kept quiet. Obviously he’s best known for his bat out of hell album and back to hell and of course his famous appearance in Rocky Horror Picture Show. Guess 2 outta 3 wasn’t bad after all. RIP Meatloaf.

Meatloaf was pretty damn amazing and one of a kind. That being said he was only at his best when he was working with jim steinmen who died less than a year ago….

Also meatloaf predicted he would die when steinmen did.

After he died, his nurse, Mary Beth, left me a message saying how much he loved me. She said I was the one person he needed more than anyone else in his life. I don't want to die, but I may die this year because of Jim. I'm always with him and he's right here with me now.

    Absolutely touching.

The Steinman stuff with Meatloaf was incredible and then Jim tried to do an album on his own. I was one of the few who owned it and loved it. Buying the album for home and the cassette for my Camaro. Good times….RIP Meatloaf

I learned mostly about meatloaf through napster.

Steinman wrote so many great songs. All coming back to me was originally going to be meatloaf but he changed his mind and went to court to stop meatloaf from releasing it. Had Celine not covered it and meatloaf came out first it would have been another huge hit for him.

Great example of how Steinmann could write some of the greatest songs but couldn't execute them vocally without meatloaf.
