Not the food the singer… Just broke shortly he passed away with family including his wife by his side at age 74. He had apparently been in significantly declining health for awhile but it had been kept quiet. Obviously he’s best known for his bat out of hell album and back to hell and of course his famous appearance in Rocky Horror Picture Show. Guess 2 outta 3 wasn’t bad after all. RIP Meatloaf.

The Steinman stuff with Meatloaf was incredible and then Jim tried to do an album on his own. I was one of the few who owned it and loved it. Buying the album for home and the cassette for my Camaro. Steinman wrote so many great songs. All coming back to me was originally going to be meatloaf but he changed his mind and went to court to stop meatloaf from releasing it. Had Celine not covered it and meatloaf came out first it would have been another huge hit for him.
