I wish. Stalled after dinner break, and finished with 87400. Probably about average.
The guy to my left pointed out a potential major Caesars fail involving Day 2.
Caesars stupidly assumed that Day 1D, which was originally going to (surely) be the biggest day as far as pahticipation, would still be the biggest day, even though they added 1E and 1F flights due to the change in US travel restrictions.
Well, 1D apparently underperformed, and this is making WSOP officials concerned that a lot of the previously-planned 1D players are now playing 1F.
What's the problem with that? They stupidly scheduled Day 2ABD on the same day as 1F -- Tuesday.
If 1F has the biggest turnout, they may have a problem with capacity, since Day 2ABD will run simultaneously (actually an hour before), and might take up a large portion of the tables. Keep in mind that Days 1A/1B had about 950 people bagging chips. It's not clear how many entered 1D, but it wouldn't surprise me if well over 1000 bagged. This could return 2000 people on Tuesday, which would leave very little room for Day 1F.

I could see thie resulting in possibly delaying Day 3 another day, which would suck.

On Day 1D (the first day I played -- he had already busted a previous day 1), he was milling around the WSOP rail seemingly aimlessly.
Presumably he was looking for one of the young, pretty female poker pros he's obsessed with. Kelly Minkin is his favorite, but he likes others. If you recall, when he was asked why he gets obsessed with these female poker pros, he explained it by saying that some poker fans love the big-name male players like Daniel Negreanu or Phil Hellmuth, but he doesn't care about them, and only prefers to be fans of the pretty girls.
I meant to get up and introduce myself to him, but I figured I would just do it later, and then I didn't see him again.
