all right fuck it BartHanson is god
Anyone who is sane listens to PFA on replay, Druff.
To conclude the weekend not sure what was going on with Ivey he was a totally dead set. Dwan won huge last night and got mixed up in a lot of pots, very entertaining. If you were to watch one of the two nights definitely check out Saturday night.

I haven’t watched televised poker in “I can’t remember when”.
I skipped around the broadcast and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Haven’t seen Durr yet fwiw. I have work to do. I’m hooked. I’m not sure which voice is the Hanson Kid. You need to promote each other’s name.
Did you say, “shutup Garrett”. I saw opportunity wasted …..
There was a lot going on in the stream. Bart did a great job. Cheers to Ryan and Nick at Hustler.
You guys have to watch the punt that starts around 6:06. Krish seems like a really nice guy. He actually made it a full night and then 6 hours the second night without having one of his usual punts. But JFC. He gets raised and re-raised with bottom pair/gutter and just shoves in a spot that works 0.0000000% of the time. I can’t recall seeing a worst punt than this, considering he has about 140K in front of him. Ah ya. He’s got to clean these up. Please Krish, no more!
I haven’t seen a picture or broadcast of durr or Ivey in a long long time. Wow, has time gone by. Little scary.
Oddly, I haven’t aged at all.
I liked that Mikki “tattoo” guy.
You haven’t seen me post anything about poker in years. To the Hanson Kid’s credit I’m kinda feeling it again. That is the highest praise. He’s good for the game, as they say.

I watched most of Friday night. Missed a lot of Saturday night but will catch up this week.
Couple things I’d like to point out. I thought having Nick on the broadcast with you was crucial. He was able to provide very good insight as he plays with some of these guys on a weekly basis.
I thought Phil played so super nitty that if I was Ryan I wouldn’t invite him back. Sure, he’s Phil Ivey and he’s always going to draw eyes but the way he played was almost like an insult to the other players in the game.
I wish Gal played on Saturday. Gal is one of my favorites to watch. He puts his opponents in tough spots better than any reg in these games by not being afraid to put max pressure on them. The hand he played on Friday where he made Dylan fold AK on the A97r board was vintage Gal. I was really pulling for him to win the 50k the other night.
I’m excited to catch up on saturdays game and watch durrr. From what I’ve gathered he had a great performance and I’ve always admired his game.
Great job Bart. You’re an excellent commentator.

Ivey did the Irish exit both nights about 3 or so hours in. Just got up, left his chips and never came back. The game actually get better when he left. He has such a strong presence at the table that the chatter goes up exponentially when he leaves.
I would say for sure the second night he was not looking to get involved at all. This actually did save him money, b/c he just cold called three bets with big hands all night that we’re destined to lose anyway. He for sure was not looking to bloat any pots. It is strange to watch Ivey basically never even be the aggressor in most pots he played.
Maybe the stakes were to low for him, he really just likes playing mix games nowadays, sports bets and/or he just wasn’t into it. With all that being said, he’s still Phil Ivey. He will be back whenever he wants, whether he plays 2 hands or 50. Maybe he wasn’t that captivating to watch this time, but his presence in the game was the driving force that created it in the first place.
A livestream is such a different animal than old school high stakes poker. They had the ability to edit hands any way they wanted to for dramatic effect. They even would show hands out of order because it told the story better. A livestream you can put all the right ingredients together to make it compelling, but than what happens is organic. Even though editing the shows back in the day took a lot of work, I would still say putting together a compelling livestream is tougher.
As for Mikki, I won’t get to into the weeds. I spoke with a buddy of mine who knows a lot of these rich guys who present themselves as “Professional Baccarat Players”. It is a whole way of life for these guys. Mikki has an Instagram where he began to post million dollar cashouts and what not.
That obviously got him noticed and he has a following and some famous friends. Mikki was up 300K the first night but felt obligated to stay, even though he wanted to leave. He could of folded a grand or so an oribit and locked up a huge profit. But he just can’t, if he has a few chips in a pot he feels committed. I think he’s got a good heart, but he’s a handful to deal with at times. Think that’s the best way to put it.
Because this is PFA, just gonna toss this out there, Lucky 2017:

So two years ago he was sentenced to serve 3 years in prison and 3 years supervised probation. Yet he’s out, traveling with at least half a million bucks and is on a high profile poker stream. Sounds about right
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?
@mumbles you won’t be investing? Lol
Think all I got to say is this seems to be a genuine ask.
Just wanted to say a great show with great production and Bart your commentary as always was on point , a couple of 'take homes' below
Phil really didn't seem at all interested and not wanted to be there
Krish played great and then had a MASSIVE blow out, shame really ( day 2 )
Tom was a fantastic addition and hopefully we see again
Garrett had a huge number of sticky spots and the increased competition was telling
Lucky was also a great addition, would like to know more about his backstory
Shame Reza was only there for the end few hours, adds to the mix massively
Overall a must watch if you like televised poker and Hustler is most certainly the premier stream now for live poker
Congrats and keep up the excellent work
Over and out..
Looks like the most serious charge was dropped after the initial accuser failed to follow up. That squares up the time frame a bit. It would have to be some kind of crazy doppelgänger if it wasn’t him. Even the way the facial hair is done is almost an exact match.
Obviously there is no prohibition on ex-felons playing poker in a casino. We can debate if the punishment fit the crime, but he apparently paid his debt to society as per our criminal justice system. He mentioned playing heads up with a bunch of known players including Berkey I believe.
It’s ugly. He plead guilty to some really awful shit. Kind of wish I didn’t even get this information. I am guessing I’m not the only one who wishes that.
This was an interesting exchange between Tom and the other players.
