It really makes you wonder if Lenard “Lucky” Adams was doing fraudulent scumbag shit like this just a few years ago, what are the chances that he is playing with legitimately earned money to where he is not only able to play at these levels but be willing to accept a quarter million dollar swing in a single night?

He definitely caught cards, his night could have easily turned out much different.

Probably shouldn't invite "Lucky" back, given the revelations about him.

    Interesting stream.

    - Presence of Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan
    - One player apparently a convicted rapist
    - One player left to go to a Lakers game and slapped the hand of Rajon Rondo

    Hard to top that.

"Lucky" is extremely generous with the tipping.

At this level of tipping, you can know virtually nil about someones game and know they are negative expectation.

Just that one pot he gave the dealer 2k.

So I was checking out a few of the other streams from Hustler Casino live. So what I gathered in the short period of time I was watching, is that player “Nick V.” Is Co-Owner of “Hustler Casino Live”. Just the Live stream not the casino itself. Even acting like the Mike Postle thing never happened (Sorry Druffl), I would think that if someone was an owner of a live stream, then playing in the game would be absolutely avoided. Surprised no one takes issue with this. If there is anyone that could pull off cheating, it would be the owner the the stream. After Postles shenanigans, It seems folks would be extra sensitive to it.

Oh, “but, he is good guy”. I’m sure that’s what people said about Postle prior to his shenanigans.

@PV I can say there is 0.0000000000% chance Ryan Feldman & Nick Vertucci would ever for a split second even give a second though to not running a game without 100% integrity. Some background on Nick. He was the most consistent recreational player to play on high stakes Friday on LATB when Feldman was there. He started to play on the “Ante Game” on Tuesday nights and some players like Eric Hicks complained that Nick was a “Friday Only” Player and it was unfair that he played in both games.

Nick started to disappear from the LATB streams and then when he & Feldman announced the venture at Hustler, it all made sense. Ryan produces the game and has not appeared on stream at all. Nick plays sometimes because he wants to and sometimes to fill a seat if need be. The game integrity is never questioned by any of the players.

Nick does not even communicate with the production team while he is playing. I have seen him tell the dealer (who do wear headsets) to pass on a message to Ryan which is typically light hearted. But I can say there really is no shenanigans going on whatsoever. It’s all on the level. No player is able to have any electronics at the table including Nick. They even took Ivey’s phone and Dwan’s phone from them.

Just real quick on the “Ante Game”…it’s really a $25/$50 uncapped game in disguise. There is no question it can be played exploitable if someone has the skill and the bankroll. A player by the name Luda Chris has basically made an art form out of crushing the game. But I do think the regular players all for the most part know the game is “$5/$5” in name only.

Nick is not a professional and I believe that he had (And has) every right to play in the Ante game. It would be one thing if Garrett was a regular in that game. But for Hicks to make a big deal out of a non-professional player being included in both games is without merit. If a professional is a regular on high stakes Friday and is also regularly invited to play the Ante game then I would say that would be suspect.

As you know Jeff, I greatly respect your opinion.
I’m not a poker player myself, so I’m really not familiar with many of the names besides the superstars (Ivey, Hellmuth, ect.)

I don’t suspect at all that Nick or Ryan would attempt any shenanigans, It was more just to avoid any possible suspicion by people that may not know Nick or Ryan’s character.

I know they are in the early stages of building this up, and I could see someone like myself who up until you informed me of their trustworthy characters, telling someone that may be interested in playing in a live game...

“Are you aware the Co-Owner plays regularly on stream?”

I just could possibly see how someone that is unfamiliar with their characters like I was prior to my post to potentially suspect something that is extremely unlikely once you know them on a personal level.

Like if Dwan told Ivey, “The guy in seat 4 co-owns the live stream”. It may or may not influence Ivey in returning.

Overall fortunately for them, most players that are willing to play live on stream know their characters.

Here is a list of Owner(s) who play(ed)on their on livestreams…

Triton - Paul Phua & Richard Yong

PokerGO (Aria) Tournaments - Cary Katz

King’s Casino Cash Games - Leon Tsoukernik

Live at the Bike - Wayne, Limon, JJ, Dan Zack, Ryan (When he had a piece)

So it is pretty much a common thing for owners to play on their own livestream. It’s definitely not a “don’t get high on your own supply” type thing. When you start going through the streams, it’s pretty much par for the course.

Enjoy the two nights. BTW Bart is about as universally liked as you can be in a YouTube chat in this day and age. He does a great job.

We ended up capping out at 20,500 live concurrents which was by far record breaking of any live streamed poker show. I believe that one of the million dollar cash games a few years ago on LATB had like 12,000. Already each night, which is totally free to watch and up on their youtube channel BTW, is approaching 500k views and we are less than a week out. Also Jungleman is scheduled to be on the show this weekend but I am not commentating on it. I am trying to get the produce to allow me to do the show remotely instead of having to fly to LA.

I hope they intend to keep it free and do not switch to a pay/month model or sell out to Pokergo.

I would imagine that this can be done as long as the California Gaming Commission is fine with it. Given that you are watching the feed on the delay with the public, I would think this can be achieved as it is in everyone’s financial interest (Other than the Airline & Uber you use) to make this a permanent thing. Certainly no game integrity issues with you getting the delayed feed. (Although I think it’s safe to say your reputation alleviates any of that anyways)

In an earlier post I did mention game dynamics that are out Ryan’s control will determine how compelling play is and the ultimate viewership. It was a huge success undoubtedly going North of 20 K concurrent viewers. I would say if Ivey was really mixing it up it, stream would have flirted with 25K + numbers. Still an enormous success and I’m sure we will see those numbers someday in the future.

Mikki has heard the noise from his detractors/haters and wants to set the record straight. He is a an AP Baccarat Player and as proof… he just won a shitload of money in 20 minutes. See Christopher Mitchell thread for the endless posts regarding Baccarat.

I know all the poker players in the forum can attest that when a guy is crushing a game, he must be really good. Why stake someone in a week long tournament when you can be done in 20 minutes?

In all seriousness, I’m not trying to hate on the guy but this is pretty absurd. I guess it’s fine as long as he is doing this with people with a shit ton of money. If he was targeting disillusioned 9-5ers like Christopher Mitchell, than it would be a real issue. But I would suggest these guys do some minimal homework regarding baccarat and if it can be beat.
