I don’t know a single vocal Biden supporter. I know a few vocal Dems, but no Joe cheerleaders.
It was simply Trump and his cult of idiot followers have to go at any cost. If there was a sane Republican left, I wouldn’t care if he took over tomorrow. Even now, I don’t care to pay an extra .50 for gas or that the shelves are empty. Fuck, we paid over $4 when Republicans were starting worthless wars. That’s equivalent to 5.50 now. And coming on the heels of gas prices under Clinton being an average of like 1.25 and leaving office at 1.40. President decisions are worth like .10-.15 unless you’re starting a war in the Middle East. Otherwise they’re irrelevant.
I’ll figure out where to find what I need if the shelves are empty. Small inconvenience and it was the same last year. I don’t notice any change than what it was last year.

The Dems are certainly in trouble short term. The Trump cult is strong. My dad actually ran into a small protest outside a grocery store last week over election results in October. What absolute loons.
If the Dems don’t find a completely new candidate for 2024, or Michelle Obama or some other turnout machine emerges, it’s deep trouble. Hopefully obese Trump dies. It’s still all about him. He’s done tremendous damage, but there still isn’t another charismatic Republican. Unfortunately there isn’t a charismatic Dem either.

If Biden is the nominee in 2024 he is +EV to be re-elected. Why do I say so? He is the incumbent and eligible to run for another term, which historically the incumbent usually wins. You don’t need any other information. You don’t need to know which party, who the opponent might be or anything else. It’s not a slam dunk obviously as we saw in 2020 but it’s probably 2-1.
I’ll make anyone an even money bet right now that IF Biden is the nominee he is re-elected. If he is not the nominee then no action.

Actually, it is medical tyranny.
In California, they are going to mandate that all students at an eligible age for a vaccine will be required to get it, in order to remain in school. This will apply to BOTH public and private school, thus forcing almost every parent's hand. This will especially force the hand of all single-parent, poorer California families to where homeschooling is absolutely not an option.
"Science" does not explain why kids need to be force-vaccinated.
They do not appear to be transmitting COVID. (Not a single student-transmitted COVID outbreak has been reported in any school in the US, in the two months since school has restarted.)
They have excellent COVID outcomes. Pediatric COVID death numbers are similar to the 2018-19 flu, and even the CDC admits this.
The vaccine is still new and has a lot of unknown factors to it. Long term consequences from the vaccine upon developing kids remains unknown.
This should be in the hands of parents, since kids do not benefit much from the COVID vaccine (very few have bad COVID outcomes), and yet it introduces an unknown risk to them.
This is VERY different than older adults getting vaccinated, where the benefit far outweighs the risk. That's why I got the vaccine without hesitation, but I probably don't want to give it to Benjamin.
Either way, it should be my choice, and not forced upon my son by Hypocrite Tyrant Newsom while he dines at the French Laundry.
