I’m headed back to Vegas in about two weeks, I’m looking for a steakhouse that’s not $100 a steak but has fantastic food. On the strip off the strip it doesn’t matter. Thanks

Do not go downtown. Some will say Vic N Anthony's is the greatest steakhouse ever, but it's not. They treat you like downtown trash.
In general, do not go to a steakhouse where the customer is going to be assumed to be lower-middle class, or otherwise you will get treated like an asshole. That counts out downtown, Circus Circus, etc.
This leaves either locals steakhouses (look up Yelp reviews) or strip steakhouses (check price AND reviews).
Thanks druff,
Honestly, I won’t go downtown since covid started. It’s so trashy, the drug addicts are terrible. I was down there last year and watched security tackle two people. One stole a purse, the other a phone. Both incidents happen within 5 min of each other. I told my wife, let’s get the fuck out of here this blows. Haven’t been back since.
At this point, I just stay at a hotel on flamingo rd and the strip. The poker rooms are there, Ellis island is a quick walk. I get a car and go hiking or something off the strip if I’m not playing cards. At this point I skip all the tourist stuff on the strip and I won’t be going to downtown.
I’m headed back in 2 weeks and we’re going to mt Zion Wednesday to Friday before my group of about 20 friends get in FRi night. It’s going to be a shit show lol, I hate going with that many people but it’s mine and my best friends birthdays.
By "mt Zion", you mean Zion National Park? Whenever someone says Mount Zion, I think of the Bible!
Zion should be fairly nice at this time of year. Not sure if you still have to take that idiotic bus. If you don't have to, I'd recommend avoiding it. I hate that thing.
Downtown is trashy, and that's why the steakhouses there treat you like shit. If your steak is cooked wrong, their immediate thought is, "This person is angling for free food", rather than, "Let's make it right for this customer", as they do in normal steakhouses. In general, you don't want to go to any high-end experience aimed at lower-middle class people. This isn't me being a snob -- it's just a fact that the way you're treated at a business is often a product of the overall clientele they deal with.
I've had pretty good steak dinners at Gordon Ramsay Steak (Paris), Strip House (Planet Hollywood), Delmonico Steakhouse (Venetian), Prime (Bellagio), and Old Homestead (Caesars). However, Old Homestead has zero atmosphere, like I mean absolutely zero, and it feels weird paying that much money to eat there.
I know there's some decent off-strip steakhouses, but I didn't try many, and when I did, they were okay but not great. But if you see good Yelp reviews on one, it's worth a shot, as it will be cheaper and likely close to as good as the others named above.
Just stay away from any place where the clientele is not expected to be high-end.
My wife and I are going to Mount zion Utah.after reading a bunch of travel sites I wasnÂ’t sure how all that works getting from the hotel to the park I figured I would wing it. ItÂ’s our first time going so IÂ’m pretty excited. I was hoping to just grab an Uber or Lyft to the park.
As far as steak houses, the group of people were going with decided on hells kitchen. I already ate at HellÂ’s Kitchen with my diamond credit. The food was amazing, I wish the portions were bigger for the price. I actually decided not to go to dinner with everyone.
Maybe IÂ’m wrong for passing on mine and my best friends birthday dinner but heres my reasoning. The group of people IÂ’m going with will definitely be drunk and obnoxious. TheyÂ’re going to be yelling and trying to order over one another it gets kinda crazy. ItÂ’s fun but the last few dinners always end up being a mess. The cost of HellÂ’s Kitchen is silly. It was 280$ with no alcohol for my wife and I to eat. Appetizer, 2 meals and an extra Mac and cheese side. Finally IÂ’m not sure if they split bills for a group that size. Splitting a check between that many groups of people is a pain in the ass. Deciding who drank what and ordered what, Fuck that.
Check out Lawry's Prime Rib.
If you go early enough and he's not somewhere making a movie, you might run into a drunk Nicholas Cage.
