Started getting chills Friday night during the O/8 OB. Busted out about 1am. Next morning, not feeling good. Rested and isolated in the room all day. Today woke up with more symptoms. Ran to CVS, and the home test was positive. Checked out and headed home. I’d been in town since last Sunday, so likely caught it in Vegas. Not feeling horrible, like an average cold for me. Hopefully I’ll be back next week. Good luck tomorrow in the $1500 limit hold’em Druff. Pissed I’m missing my favorite event.

After the first few hours of winning slightly, I went into a tailspin and pretty much lost every hand for hours to donk down with about only 15% of the field busted.
It is likely you didn't get it at the O8 event itself because the symptoms came too soon after. However, this means you were transmitting big time, as the most contagious point is right before you show symptoms. Glad we didn't make contact.
I've been in Vegas since Friday morning and am not sick. At least not yet.

Todd doesn't make any sense. He goes on and on about COVID and getting the vaccine but then talks about being afraid to catch COVID. Obviously if the vaccine doesn't prevent you from getting COVID then it isn't a vaccine and is more a cash grab by the pharmacutical companies. Why anyone would get the COVID vaccine makes no sense.

Told ya. If you want COVID go to Las Vegas and play in the WSOP. The odds of you getting it there are very high even if vaccinated. There are five different variants of the omicron strain. Vaccines offer a little protection but you can still get infected.
Everyone I know has had Covid at least once, regardless of vaccination status. I seriously am starting to feel left out.
