If there is anything I’ve learned from Druff Quixote is that the scammer usually gets away with it. I wouldn’t have thought that otherwise. Thx PFA for making an otherwise sweet man so cynical.

]I watched it. I guess I was most surprised by the fact no one confirmed he was the actual son of the billionaire, but those girls weren’t exactly brain surgeons.

Maybe it wasn’t easy at the time and the guy has nine children? It seems easy to confirm now, but maybe not then. The dude was already a billionaire and it seems like I would have needed to see some mention of his son Simon in an article and a couple of pics and dad and son before I’m even considering loaning money to the dude. It’s kind of hard for a billionaire heir to need your AMEX to pay for hotels.

Otherwise it was kind of straight forward romance scam shit. Bunch of women fall for guy who seems incredibly wealthy and got rolled. Tbh, I didn’t feel particularly bad for them. Dude was some average dude they would have scrolled by and ignored if not for his ostentatious displays of wealth. Fuck the one didn’t even seem into him, just wanted to be friends with the billionaire kid.
