Thanks for verifying the phone was ok. Was kinda worried originally assumed itself was ok but that it might have lost service due to burnt wires or something from the lodge fire

I say Arson.....developers Been after that property forever, they closed the Cowboy town up there, made Hi $$$. Homes...

All skullduggery....Arson, and they get away with it.100%.IMO

A fellow i know had his failing store burn up with every thing inside. The insurance company gave him a million dollars for his loss. I over herd a few people talking and they mentioned a phenomena called "jewish lightning" Not sure what that is any info regarding is appreciated.

I remember the homes were quite decently priced when I was there around 2014.

Also, the news report in the LVRJ said that Ellis Island, the current owner, plans to rebuild it.

Though the property is called "historic", apparently it burned to the ground once before, in 1961. It was rebuilt then and will be rebuilt once more.

Given that I have a cabin with a 1970s rotary phone, I have had no need to stay there, but I was still sad to watch the footage. I was a little less sad when I heard it burnt down previously, and that it will be rebuilt again.
