Strip Dining Help

Hey everyone. So I'm going to Vegas for the first time in a few years in August. Does anyone have recommendations for dining on the strip that is good/reasonable cost for lunch and dinner, but not like high end.

I know on radio for example, Druff/Brandon talked about a deli that they enjoyed but is now closed. I guess that would have been a good example.

Let me know.

Also, any must-try nicer dinner spot recs would be cool too.

The strip is so tough to get value. One of my favs is Sushi Samba at the Venetian. I would say it’s reasonable for the strip. The food is really good. Chicken Terriyaki is no joke. You can check out the menu. Nice atmosphere.

You can control the cost by not going hard on the adult beverages or ordering a bunch of rolls.

Mon Ami Gabi patio at Paris is our to go place. Good food at "reasonable prices" plus a great place to enjoy Bellagio fountains and music and of course people watching. It has to be patio. Inside has nothing more to offer. Their Sunday brunch with a make-it-yourself bloody mary bar is our favorite. Enjoy your trip!

I have provided a variety of cuisines for your dining pleasure:

Strip reasonable: Grand Lux Cafe, Mon Ami Gabi, Hash House a Go Go, Battista’s Hole In The Wall, Eggslut.

Strip high-end worth it: Delmonico Steakhouse, Estiatorio Milos, Julian Serrano Tapas, Giada, Mesa Grill.

Off Strip: The Oyster Bar at Palace Station, Marrakech, Da Lat, Polaris Cafe, Fogo de Chao (yes, I know it’s a chain, I don’t care).

Hash house go go at the LINq, is one of my fav restaurants. Go for lunch or dinner, make reservations and get the steak over potatoes. It will blow your mind about 25$ To 30$ I can’t remember off hand

Gordon Ramsey fish and chips outside the linq. Some of the best fried fish I’ve ever had. 16.99 or 17.99

Peppermill by the wynn, expensive but the portions are unreal 17-25$. It’s a Greek restaurants but the inside is all neon and still classic 60/70 vegas

Taco gordo across from resorts world, there’s a second less busy taco place next door. I can’t remember the name I prefer their tacos but both are good and cheap open 24/7. 2/3$, al pastor tacos are the way to go

Dirt dog has excellent hotdogs in the Bally’s shops. 10-12$

Finally, go to Ellis island. Their food is awesome and their so cheap. 5 min walk off the strip past the flamingo. Make reservations but you can expect 16.99 prime rib, also the breakfast is 12-15$ but I eat there 2/3 times when I travel for my solo poker trips. They also brew their own beer which is pretty good

Yes the fish is great but the fries are so-so at best. The barbeque place right across from Gordon Ramsey's is surprisingly good. I've sometimes gotten one of everything and had enough for several days.

This is an awesome list. BTW…I stayed at the Cosmo probably 300 nights+ (stayed 3 months once) and didn’t eat at Eggslut until my last stay. Always thought I don’t like Breakfast sandwiches enough to wait in the line….I was wrong. It’s really fucking good. Also a bonus that they used turkey sausage patties rather than pork.
