The judge said the "injuries as shown in the photographs are terrible" but added, "If she set limits and he exceeded them, this case would've been clear. But she set limits without considering all the consequences, and respondent did not exceed limits that the petitioner set."
How does MLB keep the guy suspended after an independent judge pretty much said he did nothing wrong?
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?
Even if this fine young lady has totally cucked the system and is out to get him (which I don't fully believe), it's hard to imagine a team being willing to trot out a guy with such a bizarre, violent sexual past.
You can get forgiven for a lot of shit in America but choking women out by the hair and punching them in the vagina isn't it - even if fully consensual.
Going MAGA like Aubrey Huff may be a way to stay in the spotlight but he'd be wise to take his money and run.

The Pasadena Police and the MLB have not completed their investigations. At the same time, remember that the MLB supersedes the police and the courts.
Do the Dodgers players want him in the clubhouse? Do other teams want him? Guys get blackballed. It happens. This will be the most important reasoning behind the MLB’s decision around Christmas (lol).

Trevor Bauer’s inability to not be a jerk could cost him; Laine traded for Dubois

For entertainment purposes I’ll point out again that fans are violent and aggressive these days. As well, the MLB has a line of women’s wear that they promote and have a woman announcer on Sunday Night Baseball. You don’t need to antagonize game and it’s fans with this affair and his act.
Most importantly…..
For nearly a decade he’s reveled in being brash, outspoken and proudly not giving any fucks what the public thought. The MLB front office and franchises have no guarantee that he won’t go off about this whole affair at some later date if he is reinstated somewhere.
It’s time Druff came to terms with the fact that the MLB isn’t woke…. the public is
Jayjami is correct. There is a ton of misunderstanding out there regarding the restraining order hearing, and the purpose of it.
The question at hand was, "Is Trevor Bauer presently a danger to this woman?"
The question was NOT, "Did Trevor Bauer commit a crime against this woman in the past?"
Even if the answer to the second question is YES, a restraining order is not typically granted unless there is reason to believe the person will re-offend. In Trevor Bauer's case, it is highly unlikely he will stalk and/or attack the woman at this point.
This doesn't let him off the hook for the other stuff.
Regarding the judge's statement that Bauer "didn't exceed limits set" by the woman, that would be great for him if that's the determination in possible upcoming civil or criminal cases, but here it doesn't have much effect outside of the restrainig order matter.
Basically the judge was saying, "Trevor Bauer hurt her while she was expressing a desire to be hurt. Now that she is not expressing that desire, it's highly unlikley Trevor will ever hurt her again." I'd agree with that.
MLB will probably make a sacrificial lamb out of him, though. Between this and banishing Felipe Vazquez, they can wave the "we care about domestic violence and sexual exploitation" flag, and fend off the woke mob for awhile.
Kinda reminds me of that Oregon State pitcher whose juvenile record got out, I think he pitched some in Mexico but that is about it.
Bauer is unlikely to play MLB ever again.

They finally make it an official wrap on Trevor's season.
Yeah that was a fun local story.
A bunch of local college sports fans were seriously riding for a convicted child molester who molested his 6 year old cousin because he pitched well.
All the fucking moron had to do was stay up to date with sex registration (which may have even been sealed?) and it would have been sealed as part of juvie record. He failed to do so and it turned up.on a background check, costing him his career and untold millions.

He has a path back into MLB because he's still only 30, and so far he hasn't lost any legal proceedings. If he continues to beat everything going forward (which he might, because there's substantial evidence on his side which cloud these allegations), then it only becomes a matter of optics for MLB going forward.
It might be hard for MLB to justify a complete ban after he's not shown to have committed wrongdoing in a court of law. There might be some teams who take a shot on him for cheap, especially ones with a low budget which aren't drawing fans anyway.
He probably isn't coming back to the Dodgers or any high profile team which would have a lot to lose by signing him.
Nah. Corporations are woke. I doubt most of the public, especially baseball watching demographic, are woke. Most of us are just cowed into submission, and dont want to get on the wrong side of the people who can and will make our life difficult if we speak up against wokeism. Also, it is not like women are some monolithic group that always sides with the woman in these situations. Most of the women I know believe Kobe was set up for instance.
But punching sexual partners when they are unconscious (even if they are into S&M) is crossing a line that transcends partisan politics. You dont see Tucker Carlson on Donald Trump stumping for this guy. His baseball career is done, it is just a matter of how much of his contract he gets and whether he avoids jail time.

lol at the fucking morons you know thinking kobe was set up
Trevor Bauer will NOT face any criminal charges for allegedly punching and choking a woman unconscious during sex.
Bad news for Dodgers, because now they're stuck with his contract.
The lack of charges isn't surprising. The chick was too willing in her pahticipation in the whole thing. Yes, he was a lot rougher than he was supposed to be, but she came back a 2nd time wanting rougher sex, and that's what she got.
His career is probably dead, though. Maybe some failteam will take a shot with him, but I'm guessing it won't happen.
Yep and its gonna suck for Phoenix Metro majorly if as I suspect Spring Training gets totally hosed thats a 600M gutpunch to the economy here across the board from tax revenue to hospitality and everything in between.. Usually Spring Training is the last hurrah for rideshare here before the summer slowdown because things start getting warmer quickly come April and things tail off from May till September basically with few exceptions due to the blast furnace. Unlike Vegas its not a huge tourist destination when its hot as hell here.
