If it was only 90 to 95 degrees nobody would be saying anything or complaining about it.

It’s disgusting here also. Not historically bad, but one of those hottest stretches of the summer type days. 90-95% humidity and 90-95 degrees. I’ve got this friend and I swear I hadn’t seen her in like months, and my luck I happen to stop by on day when a pipe broke in her outdoor well.

Like right as it happened. Yard getting flooded. Dad literally got out of hospital day before for back issue and lung issues. Stepfather has COPD and 300lbs. Not an able-bodied dude around and I’m thinking about my horrible timing.

I’m sitting there as she’s taking her kids to a Hampton and packing their shit and these well guys can’t come out until the problem is dug out and they can see what’s wrong, as it isn’t dry, it’s broken pipe flooding yard, and if they have to do it it’s like $4k instead of $1200.

I thought to myself this will be a hell of a cardio workout. I wished I hadn’t already went to gym that morning.

So I filled up cooler with a bunch of drinks and a few beers, and water is shut off so I have to run to a local spring for some jugs of water. I knocked out a maybe 5 foot by 4 foot deep hole and felt like I deserved some Mexican laborer union card. Just sweat pouring into eyes entire time. I got done and she and her kids were at hotel and I just laid on some air mattress in her garage for a half hour before driving home. I was disgusting dirty and couldn’t shower. Didn’t want to get car filthy, so some ghetto spring water faux shower. Slept like a fucking baby. On a seventy degree day, just standard rough manual labor. With that heat, just an absolute ass kicking.

And actually I meant this in no way other than LOL

Couple of Canucks saying 90+ is hot and that they need a break from the heat LOL (Canuck probs obv LOL..). Funny how some of you above seem to think like 15 years ago, that I'm just a moron, idiot, etc etc..

To each their own, but wow very very naive and stupid logic above, I'll run some of you over, literally in even an I.Q. test on the realz. And just lol and the implication that I am some dumb idiot etc etc.

I guess with some above, the stupid takes over. Maybe they are just plain stupid..

Yes there will be many Canadians complaining about 90 plus heat. Just like many US people in the south complain when it snows or gets to zero. That is a walk in the park in shorts for most Canadians. But in both those cases its more of a whining. I am talking about 110 plus heat with humidity making it about 125, big difference from your post stating 90.

Funny though how you feel you have to prove your not a moron or idiot by saying you can run people here over in an IQ test.

Matt the Rat what I am saying to you is this, point blank

Las Vegas is DRY heat, so 115 degrees in Las Vegas Matt feels like 90 0r 85 at times. Since it is DRY heat. In the south here and Florida, we have humidity and the lay on your face like you're smothering, moisture heat. And THAT is the not fun heat, Vegas is a walk in the park heat wise bud.

Matt 115 in Vegas feels like 90 here in Florida, real heat. Vegas heat is joke. You realize you are incorrect there right. Dry heat and therefore Las Vegas is NOT the real heat, and miserable heat Matt. Vegas while hot at times it's dry heat, that's for pussies to whine about imo.

Also Matt I'm from New Jersey, born and raised. So I know all about real winters too.

Boston hit 100 degrees and had to be 90% humidity at some point.

Nothing beats Florida though except Central America

Vegas while hot at times it's dry heat, that's for pussies imo.. anyways thanks I seem to think Las Vegas heat, is the real get fn increase how moronic some are sometimes. Also Matt I'm from Jersey born and raised for 3 years so I know all about real winters too.

When in Vegas how many desert hikes do you take? Both heat and cold can be deadly. Why you have any false pride about the temperature you try to minimize at all costs is what’s really crazy

Les you understand this is not my opinion right. And it is not something I am making up correct. Las Vegas and has Dry heat with no moisture in the air. Where as when the moisture in the air is at say 90% and it's 110 in Florida then your gonna fold and whine for sure. And that here, doesn't change for months either, it stays hot and 90+ish for months, and high humidity.

Les this is scientifically proven bud. Vegas is DRY heat, so when it may be 115 in Vegas it only feels like 90 in Vegas. In Florida 115 with also very high humidity, so not DRY heat happens often and it's miserable heat. You get acclimated to the heat in time tho or I am now. So yes uncomfortable at times, but you get used to it too. I get it this is the type of conversation one has to have to explain real heat vs not real heat, to a couple Canucks lmao....

    anyway

The only words you need to drop, Garrett, is “evaporative effect”.

You can cool yourself so much easier in dry heat by sweating.

Poor people in Phoenix back in the day used to have swamp (evaporative) coolers on their roof. When water is added to dry air it lowers the temperature. I couldn’t really tell you why.

It is a primitive and cheap why to cool a space.

Vegas vs Florida is not even a debate.

High humidity heat and high humidity cold are similar because they “feel” worse to us but dry or cold they take you out if you’re not prepared. Much of the arctic is desert like as far as humidity. You are arguing with yourself

Be careful btw I have never really bothered with you but you are asking for it

Obviously, Mother Nature has become pissed about all of that super CO2-polluty tar sands oil production up there in Canadaland. Have you learned your lesson yet?

That's why in my original post I said: "This is NOT a dry heat like Las Vegas, we have a lot of humidity so it feels way hotter." So I am actually agreeing with you about the Las Vegas heat. That would mean the heat here is probably like your heat since we both have lots of humidity.

In my last post I said" "Just like many US people in the south complain.." so the word many does not mean all and you being born and raised in New Jersey does not qualify as the south last time I checked.

Yeah it feels worse but when it's 40 above or below and you're not prepared for it you may die. Running from casino to casino doesn't really provide the full experience

if i lived in the pacific NW and had some HVAC skills, i'd be going door to door and signing contracts to get AC's installed

actually you probably don't even need to have those skills, just sell and hire subs

the right person could go from broke to retired within a year or two

This is very interesting of you to write, for a reason ill explain below here

I was not ever aware the in the Pacific NW, or Washington State Electricity is actually one of the lowest States for price of Electricity in the U.S. Now the way I learned of this, and had a kind of, wait a minute here now I understand the WHY. I learned along the way here that, some people are actually by design Mining Cryptocurrency in Washington State. Mainly it is because of how cheap Electricity is in Washington State. The profitability of Mining Crypto can be good from WA. I was myself was a little wooh, wait a sec here. I never even connected all them dots and realized that. Not only is Seattle Beautiful, and pretty when I was there it is also very +EV to be mining Crypto in Washington State. That has surprised me big time, other then cost of Miners you're Electricity costs, is your only Cost of Production in Crypto Mining. With nationally Low electricity costs Washington State is like the IDEAL spot to be mining Crypto apparently.

People are Mining crypto from Washington State big time, and by design because of its cheap Electricity costs. And well, not important, but if you REALLY want to have a +EV crypto mining operation, just buy a cpl lol chickens, maybe a pig who cares. And then in Washington State you could turn your 'Crypto Mining' farm into a 'Farm' land and get an even much bigger Tax break for yourself, since then you are also Mining Crypto on a 'Farm' and pay literally Minimal Taxes. When I realized this and connected all the dots, I was like woooh wait a minute here. These people are Mining Crypto by design from Washington State actually, and its fn genius too, cheap electricity, claim yourself as a Farm and well, you should be able to +EV Crypto Mine from that point on imo.. Now im digressing sorry. but when this realization happened and I had that 'Aha' moment realizing this is why they are Mining Crypto in Washington State and because of its cheapest in the U.S Electricity costs it all made perfect sense then. Connect the dots yourselves. Crypto Mining, and make it a Farm so +EV from Washington State more so then too.

Or then, heck just live in Seattle as beautiful as that is and Mine Cryptocurrencies LOL, easy game right =)....
