Back in the spring of 1994, a bunch of us from my high school took a 5ish day trip to Montreal for our junior year trip, unofficially. I got to watch 2 games live at the old Forum, Bruins-Canadiens playoff games, and it was SO much fun. The day of game ticket-buying culture was a massive help, and standing room was cheap and plentiful. Also, the roving beer guys readily sold us cans of I can;t remember what. I mean, I saw a 6-3 Bruins playoff win in the goddamn Montreal Forum! I saw the Habs win the next game, but I choose not to remember that one specifically. I do acknowledge it tho.

Either way, after that glorious late April night in 1994, no Canadian team has since won Lord Stanley's Cup.
