I’m sure there are worse fans. Like Philly is notoriously horrible, but I grew up in 50/50 Steelers/Browns town, and I always respected the way the Steelers ran their team. Just consistently good. Then I moved to Pittsburgh, and they were just insufferable. I remember when I first moved there I had the Steelers first pre-season game on. The game ended and shortly after I heard this cacophony of honking horns. I thought there was an accident or some random parade or something.
Like I had just watched it end, yet it never occurred to me these idiots were literally driving around honking horns after the first pre-season game. Like it’s fucking hard to even watch a pre-season game, let alone care about one. It’s all backups and dudes who will be cut in a few weeks. I wasn’t anywhere near the stadium. This was just in some suburb. That was my introduction to how obnoxious they are year round. I don’t go anywhere near that town when they’re playing.
